What started as a simple idea.. to celebrate Indian culture through a fashion show.. turned into one of the most cherished journeys of my life. Threads of India wasn’t just a performance, it was a living, breathing story woven with memories, laughter, and unity. From the very first practice session, there was laughter, nervousness, dance bloopers, wardrobe experiments, and a whole lot of brainstorming. We began our journey not on a glossy ramp, but on chalk-drawn lines in a quiet basement.. where we measured every step, imagined every turn, and poured our hearts into each rehearsal. While the real stage was still under construction, we built our confidence with every practice, helping each other get better, tighter, prouder. Those chalk lines weren’t just markings.. they were where dreams first took shape. Slowly, we moved from hesitant steps to graceful walks, from unsure nods to confident poses, and somewhere in between, we built something deeper ...a bond. A bond formed through shared effort, mutual encouragement, last-minute costume hacks and the quiet reassurance of "Don’t worry, I’ve got your back." And it was THE DAY, before our performance, we sat together in a cramped meeting room.. nerves buzzing, ears straining to catch echoes from the stage. In that moment, we weren’t just performers ..we were a team, a family, counting down to something unforgettable. Hungry and anxious, we shared chips, chocolates, and soft drinks from the vending machine.. comforting each other with laughter, pep talks, and last-minute costume fixes. That small room became our launchpad of emotion. And then, the moment came. The lights lit up. The music hit. And we walked. Not just with feet, but with pride ..draped in traditions from corners of India, telling stories through fabric, song, and expression. The applause echoed through the hall, but the real magic was in the way we felt seen, heard, celebrated. The crowd was amazed, our guests were speechless, and my heart was full. Seeing everyone radiate confidence and joy, watching our CEO and audience applaud with wide-eyed amazement .. I knew this was no longer just a fashion walk. It was a core memory!
