And hello 2026! We’re back in the bookstore, and we’re getting back to business as usual right from the start - listing and processing books to keep our shelves stocked!

The weather’s a little unpredicatable this weekend, but we’re all still going for it! On Saturday morning @veganbanhmithao is here and Tiffany has a curry contingency inside the shop, so vegan Vietnamese breakfast is here either way! And Sunday we’re watching the rain for outside vendors, but inside the bookstore we’ll have a full lineup!

We’re here today ‘til 6pm and all weekend long!

2025 ::

Yoooo !! After getting let go from my last job, I felt the heights of uncertainty. A job of eight years that I helped build was swept out from under me… (was the 4th hire, now they report to Sony) There’s a moment when you get laid off where you look for someone to point fingers at. I blamed the company for months. Turns out, it was always me HAHAH. I definitely felt the passion get sucked out of me, and everyone around me could clearly see it too. The one thing they don’t tell you about uncertainty is: as long as you remain curious, you’ll be alright.

Coffee ::

Da bean didn’t give direction but it definitely moved the air. If you didn’t know, I’m now a coffee roaster/designer. Crazy how, if you open the sail, the winds will blow.

This bean helped me design for me.
FREEDOM from cooks in the kitchen, is fuckin bitchin !!
I was able to make mistakes again, a privilege I forgot existed. The bean doesn’t give a shit what I make. It just wants me to keep making. What a beautiful deal. Not to mention, I learned how to roast a not-too-shabby bean. This bean took me to four continents. Met thousands of people. Justified YouTube college and gave me an excuse to work with a bunch of my talented friends. Damn, I’m so happy.

Excited to share with you all. Hopefully, I’ll get the pleasure to serve 🤙☕️
