#Ad | What’s half term without a bus ride into town?! 🚌👀

We teamed up with @stagecoach_bus to see just how much we could squeeze into a family day out in Plymouth!

We put the kids in charge of planning our journey using the Stagecoach app 📱 From finding our route and tracking the bus live to sorting our tickets before boarding, it couldn’t have been easier! Then it was across the Tamar Bridge and into Plymouth for a day of exploring.

First stop, @theboxplymouth! FREE entry, loads to see and do, and a rather tempting selection of Jellycats in the shop 👀 Plus, there’s even more going on this half term, including Creepy Creatures of the Deep (30 Oct) and FREE drop-in Imagine the Future family activities (27–29 Oct).

After a delicious lunch at Box Kitchen (those Fish Tacos on the Seafood Plymouth Discovery Tour special menu! 🤤), we squeezed in a wander around the Mall before heading down to the Barbican. A gorgeous little craft market, cookie dough ice creams from Pilgrims, then up onto the Hoe to enjoy those beautiful Plymouth Sound views. 🍦

Over 10,000 steps, plenty of exploring, full bellies and not a single parking charge. And the return bus journey for all three of us cost just £13 with a Stagecoach Group Day ticket! 🧡

With £3 single fares and the Stagecoach app making it easy to Plan, Track and Buy, why not leave the car at home this half term and see where the bus takes you?

Where’s your favourite Plymouth spot for a family day out? 👀

AD | 🎃 A pumpkin-filled family adventure to Watermouth Castle!

We hopped on a @stagecoach_bus and headed to Watermouth Castle to discover Pumpkins at the Castle — and what a brilliant day out!

🎃 Thousands of pumpkins and autumn decorations
🛍️ A Courtyard Pumpkin Market
👻 A family Trick or Treat Trail with prizes to win
🎢 Rides, play areas, gardens, museums and dungeons

We travelled by Stagecoach, which meant no driving or parking to worry about. You can buy tickets from the driver or use the Stagecoach app to plan your journey, track your bus in real time and buy tickets before you travel.

AD | We made the journey part of the adventure 🚌🍂

I’m always looking for different things to do with the kids, especially with October half term coming up, and this time we decided to leave the car at home altogether!

We jumped on the Stagecoach bus and headed to The Donkey Sanctuary - I genuinely think the kids loved the bus journey just as much as the day out 😂

I planned the whole journey from home on the Stagecoach app, bought our tickets on there and we could even track our bus while we waited. Plan, Track & Buy all in one place 🙌

And with Stagecoach single fares at just £3, it’s such a good-value way of getting out with the kids without having to think about driving, traffic or finding somewhere to park when you get there.

There are loads of Devon’s Top Attractions you can reach by bus too, so if you’re trying to fill those half-term days, have a look at where you could go and start the adventure a little earlier 🚌❤️

Where would you head to?
