📢 This is an important announcement 📢

The European leg of the Spinning Out Tour is now over 💔

From February 6 to March 6, a full month of music, joy, laugh and freedom. I love this life ⚙️✨️

To all I've spent this crazy month with, and to @mikainstagram for bringing us together to live these extraordinary moments, I Hyperlove you ❣️

One of my highlights in 2024 was definitely that Mika was back for gigs in Germany, for the first time since 12 years! 🤩 Plus a very special gig in the German-speaking area of Switzerland, in Basel. Bonn was for sure my fave gig this year, as the atmosphere and Mika's performance were awesome, I had a great front row center spot and I was with my fave gig buddies @saslib and @perhonita ❤️ Also in Bonn I met @shezoocassim , who had come from South Africa! The "picnic-"queueing in the sunshine in the park, playing guitar and singing together, also couldn't have been more perfect. 🥰 Also in the other cities I travelled to I had the best time with my lovely MFC friends. ❤️ Thank you everyone, and sorry that I couldn't tag everyone!

Despite all this, personally it was a difficult year for me - especially the first half. From the outside my life seems pretty good, with all the gigs and travels and a lovely family, and even my physical health has been getting much better since I cut gluten and a few other things from my diet from April on. But inside of me there's a darkness, a sadness that keeps trying to pull me down. Luckily, also that has started to get better the last few months, most days are good ones now, and I'm starting to catch glimpses of my old self again, who is positive and passionate, who sees chances instead of problems. I'm still not that person, but the difference is that now I care, while a few months ago I didn't.

I wish everyone a good start into 2025 - and may it be a better year, with more love than hate, with people who manage to care about making this world a better place, even if it's hard. And hopefully people who just have hate and destruction on their mind can STOP to care about that and stop the pointless wars. Make music, not war. It makes the world a little better. :) ❤️ ☮️ 🎶

Some lovely memories from my visit in Perugia earlier this week. We go to a place to see @mikainstagram , but we leave with a lot of experiences. They say that travelling broadens your horizon, and it couldn't be more true, when you not only visit new places but also meet up with a group of friends from a dozen different countries.

Perugia was beautiful, and it was hot! Built on steep hills, it's a real challenge to get anywhere in that heat. Luckily in the old town there are escalators to go up, and part of the way is through an old fortress / castle, where it's nice and cool compared to outside. Once you've reached the top, the view is stunning! 🤩

There have been so many absolutely stunning photos of @mikainstagram over the last few weeks, but as this IS Mika FAN Club, we thought it was time for another fan appreciation post! Here are some beautiful shots of our fans at the show at Perugia's Umbria Jazz Festival earlier this week! (If we didn't tag you, it's because we don't know your Insta account! Sorry! We still appreciate you!) #mika #mikafans #mikafanclub #throwback #throwbackthursday #tbt #fanappreciation
