Hello friends! ✨ Big (ish) news! I completed my last exam today and I’m officially a licensed cosmetologist! (Please, no one tell the government I’ve been doing hair without a license for years. I promise you I wasn’t being paid. 🫣) I’m feeling incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported my career aspirations, cheered me on along the way, or taken a leap of faith by sitting in my chair. I genuinely wouldn’t be here without you. So the pressing question I’m sure everyone is wondering - am I in the salon yet? Well, no! And that’s ok! (I’m being optimistic.) If life has taught me anything, it’s that good things come to those who wait, but the best things often find us when we stop trying to force the journey and start trusting where it’s taking us. I’ve spent too much time in the past forcing the wrong things into my life, only to end up feeling defeated when they didn’t work out. This time, I’m letting myself be guided toward where I’m meant to be, and I promise that I’m going to be very loud about it. #austinhairstylist #atx #funemployment

We definitely didn’t keep it classy, but we sure kept it fun.Honestly, it’s been a minute since I’ve popped on here, but if I’m going to break the silence, it’s for this. Looking back at this past year, I’m genuinely overwhelmed by how much I’ve grown and the incredible people I’ve been lucky enough to cross paths with.
