Today I learned there's a lyric missing from the captions of this song. "No longer your puppet, your pawn, your dupe, or your henchmen." Henchman? That's how I sing it.

My mom thinks people won't buy the cow if I give you the milk for free, but I say suckle at my teat, bay-bee. Let that milk drip all over you.

Video art that plays during the songs at the ThotBot Implantation Center was made by the incomparable @dewb

Synth-tember preview!
“Core Memory” by Michael Dewberry is a glass and metal sculpture with internally projected video. Its name and form suggest the deviation between electronic and human recollection. The video content integrated into the sculpture is a mix of processed personal VHS/Super 8 home movies, recent slow-mo HD captures, and abstract analog synthesized video. The playback has small deviations across the grid of discs, and those initial deviations grow with feedback and signal degradation.

awareness practice you can do together ✨ M.A. time - take a minute to direct your full attention to each other looking into each other’s eyes. after a minute rotate partners and do it again.

M.A. time from Marina Abramovic, from her work The Artist Is Present. we did this spontaneously after the last tech poetics and it was absolutely delightful.

relax yourself. when you start thinking of something, that’s okay, let go and bring your attention back to your partner. practice coming back to them over and over, over the course of the minute. look at them and receive fully with openness and without judgement 💖

mega props to @schweppits @charstiles @morgan.musician @cacheflowe @dewb and chris for the creative openness and play to bring this to mind and try this out together 🥰
