When your trip to Catalina Island is cancelled due to weather, you find last minute fun making your own signature perfume. I never knew what a science it was to create a scent

Turned mine into a body oil "Foxxy Brown."

Thank you @dewymonday for an Amazing experience ❤️

our very first figure drawing gathering felt a little like stepping into another time ..!! ⚔️

the night didn’t arrive without a few hiccups - a last-minute venue change, a model falling through - but somehow it all came together exactly as it needed to, and we’re so grateful it did

low light, warm rooms, music in the background, bodies holding still, hands moving across paper. artists and non-artists alike came to draw from life, practice, observe, mingle, and spend a few hours making something just for the sake of making it

a very special thank you to our incredible models @kaitsworld.png and @modeltimothyclark, our friend @mattbrownoffline for giving us such an unreal place to gather, @dewymonday for the blue hour goodie bags, and @leiatabriephoto for quietly capturing the evening behind the scenes (photos soon)

so grateful to everyone who showed up and made the night what it was :) we loved seeing familiar friends and making new ones

should we host another?

THE FARMERS’ MARKET RECIPE
1 part technique
1 part inspiration
1 part what’s in season
STEP 1: Sample what catches your eye.
STEP 2: Smell the herbs. Feel the avocados for ripeness.
STEP 3: Ask your farmer what’s good right now.
STEP 4: Take home what inspires you.
STEP 5: Follow the recipe... or don’t.
Cooking is an art. Some rules are meant to be broken. 😉
