POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Rory Bushfield is one of my favorite skiers/personalities, and I loved parts 1 and two of his podcast so much that I had to record a third time with Bushy Wayne to help close out the Powell Movement. Rory and I have already talked about a lot of important skiing history. Since we last recorded, Rory went viral with a Monster funded aviation stunt, and then he had a life altering accident that changed everything. While accepting life in a new body could crush some, Bushy still has that “blow it if you got it” mentality and he’s already pushing the limits of what’s possible in his new existence. On the podcast we talk about Bushland, death, grief, flying, the accident, and a whole lot more. @roytuscany asks the Inappropriate Questions. 📷 @bushywayne archive

Skiing @momentumcamps when I was 7 yrs old was one of my all time best memories. Meeting my ski idols @joshrbibby @bushywayne @twallisch motivated me to become the best skier that I could be. The guys I skied with became family and many of them have made it to @freestylecanadaski #truegrit #momentumskicamps

Dex, you bit me more than once but only because I probably deserved it, and I never loved you even the slightest bit less for it. I’ll miss everything about you, especially the way you always ran up and burrowed your head between my knees when I hadn’t seen you in a long time. Your life was truly extraordinary, every dog should be so lucky. From the moment @sarahburkefdn discovered you under that car, to a lifetime of mad adventures with @bushywayne , you held it down, and you let ‘em know. Love you always Dex, you beauty.

I’d bet only 1% of pilots could or would even consider to land at this particular zone.. Thank you @bushywayne for really showing me the right way to shred this winter, some of the days were SO intense its hard to even put into words… Flying around very gnarly mountians, looking for sick terrain that we can shred & also land close to is just so gnarly, then riding some of the bigger lines I’ve rode all while worrying about the snow, the plane, our plan & getting home. Hats off to you bushy ur a legend. #calculatedcowboys #blowitifyougotit
