Issue 44
June 2005

RWD Magazine (Rewind) was a highly influential British youth culture and music publication that was famously distributed for free across JD Sports stores nationwide.

Founded in September 2001, the monthly print magazine served as an essential archive for the UK urban music scene, playing a critical role in chronicling the rise of grime, UK garage, hip-hop, and dubstep. Because it was stacked right by the counters at JD Sports, it became a massive cultural touchstone for teenagers and sneakerheads throughout the 2000s.
