The best chapter of my life thus far has come to an end.
I was a kid from Arizona with a growing love for this game. I never could’ve imagined where baseball would take me - or the dreams playing for Post 22 would bring to life. Wearing Rapid City across my chest for the past five years has been the greatest honor.
Nothing will ever compare to the pure joy I’ve felt sharing the diamond with my teammates over the years. From the road trip shenanigans to the teary-eyed, heartfelt conversations at the Fitz. You are my brothers for life. Thank you.
To the alumni and veterans I’ve had the privilege of connecting with through the legion - thank you for the wisdom, stories, and example you set.
To the families, friends, and businesses who stood behind me with support, both in the stands and through fundraising - thank you. Your belief meant everything.
This journey was never just about baseball. It was about belonging to a tradition and a legacy. For that, I am eternally grateful.
