Is it ever too late?

I think we spend so much of our lives believing there’s a right time for everything.
A time to build.
A time to raise a family.
A time to succeed.
And somehow, a time when we’re supposed to stop wanting more.

But I don’t believe that anymore.

Getting older hasn’t made me want less from my life.
It’s made me clearer about what I want — and much less interested in asking permission for it.

Maybe that’s the gift of experience.

You’re not starting from nothing.
You’re starting with everything you’ve lived, learned, lost, loved and become.

So no, I don’t think it’s ever too late.

Maybe this is exactly when you begin. 🤍

I was introduced to the world of vintage in 2010 ❤️
Since then I have found ways to work with vintage clothing, and in 2014 I officially opened Old Moon Vintage on Etsy when I was 20 years old.

I was born and raised in Northern Canada ( Vanderhoof British Columbia. ) 🇨🇦
• I am a resident of the US and live in California 🌴
• a Mother of a spunky 4 year old, and a wife to the amazing @bradlee_brixx ❤️
• Old Moon is 100% run by me!
• I also manage the behind the scenes of @switchblade_tattoo_club ⚔️
• I sell in person, online and travel for events with @pickwickvintage & @acurrentaffair

Let’s be honest.

Most women are not afraid of fashion.

They’re afraid of being seen.

So we edit.
We tone it down.
We neutralize.
We beige our personalities.

Why?

Who decided that shrinking equals sophistication?

Adornment is not vanity.
It’s visibility.

Maximalism is not chaos.
It’s clarity.
