Wynken, Blynken and Nod... the Galini Sleeping Pod! 300-square-foot, fully self-sustaining structures designed by @dfa_studio for Walden Monterey to have very little impact on the natural system in environmentally sensitive or challenged sites. The Galini Sleeping Pods are equipped with a shower, sink and toilet and can be shipped to remote locations and benignly placed within existing landscapes. The electrical supply is generated through the combination of both wind and solar technology. Environmental innovation in design... amazing! .

Located on an 11,600 SF corner of The Domain shopping center in Austin, Texas, Design Within Reach’s interior showroom is surrounded by full-height windows that maximize visibility into the store’s extensive furniture, art, and lighting collection. [B/A served as the Architect of Record on the project and collaborated with New York firm DFA.] @dfa_studio 🌈💡
