SUNLIT SKIES (AND THE HONEY-EYED PAINTER) IS OUT OCTOBER 4TH ☀️

ok, now that that’s out of the way. hello. hi. wow. this time last year, I was drawing storyboards for Sunlit Skies. that film in itself has been such a massive journey, and I’m so glad that I’m finally releasing it online. if you’re someone that’s looking forward to finally watching it, I hope you enjoy it. it feels so good that I can finally close that chapter, and move onto the next. from now since then, I’ve been super lucky to have worked on so many different sets, and met so many kind, talented, and passionate people. I’ve been able to shoot some narrative short films other than my own, and I’m so incredibly thankful for that. thank you to @jack_newton3 and @dfadonnie for bringing me back onto another project of yours, and trusting me to shoot your babies once again. also shoutout to @jwdmlp for letting me, a complete stranger, shoot your proof of concept film. this time four years ago (last photo), I was in high school, dipping my toes to the potential of doing film as a career. I never would’ve imagined actually being here, doing this as a freelancer. though my foot is not quite in the door yet, it has found it, and is slowly creeping its way towards it. and whenever it does, I’ve gotta remind myself to always have fun, because this was once a dream of mine.

so, what’s next? I don’t know. I am no psychic. however, I hope I get to direct or shoot some more stuff. or even, meet some cool new people, or strengthen the bonds with my current people. whatever is next, I hope it’s fun.
