Botanical Study | Living Botanical Art Mid-Autumn A study of wood, duality, and contrasting tones. “Notice that autumn is more the season of the soul than of nature.” — Friedrich Nietzsche Having lived in Korea in college through all four seasons, I watched how the exact same space transforms itself throughout the year. Nature never shifts abruptly; it moves through gentle, living transitions. That is why autumn is a 'season of the soul' as it reflects what we hold onto inside while the world changes on the outside. This mini arch translates that experience using raw wooden bases, wires, and deep tonal contrasts. Reaching across open space, the two forms stand in quiet dialogue. Weaving fresh green leaves and berries alongside weathered foliage reminds us that summer still echoes in mid-autumn. Set between dark shadows, light carnations catch the eye, glowing like soft lamps that breathe warmth into the entire composition. 🌙🌸 DALNIM STUDIO with you through every season #BotanicalStudy #BotanicalLivingArt #FloralArt #SustainableFloristry #MidAutumn

When the frame becomes part of the story. 🌿✨ kuāngjǐng (框景) teaches us that architecture and nature are in constant quiet dialogue. By layering spatial viewports through a mini foam-free arch, deep shadows, and organic negative space within the design itself, the frame stops being a boundary and begins shaping the narrative. It guides the eye, deepens the mood, and transforms botanical movement into a captured, living vignette. Mini arch foam-free floral design by DALNIM STUDIO. 🌙🌸 What framed view held your gaze today? #architecture #floraldesign #foamfree #sustainablefloristry #MiniArch

Chāhuā 插花, literally means "arranging flowers", is the traditional Chinese floral art from which Japanese Ikebana evolved. A core principle at Dalnim Studio is Naturalism: following the unique rhythm of each stem. Learning about Chāhuā gave me a much deeper understanding of this approach. I always thought I was just drawn to nature, but it turns out there is an entire philosophy built around listening to it. "In flower arranging, one must follow the natural growth of the stem. Let the high be high, the low be low, the bent be bent, and the straight be straight. Follow nature, and harmony will form itself." — Yuan Hongdao, Píng Shǐ (History of Vases, Ming Dynasty) #chahua #插花 #flowerarrangement #FloralEducation

Before you can create with flowers, you need to know how to source. 🌿 One of the most exciting parts of the Floral Immersion Masterclass is taking our learning beyond the studio and into Dangwa Flower Market. We’ll walk the market together, learn how to navigate the stalls, source quality blooms, understand what’s in season, and most importantly, learn how to choose flowers with a designer’s eye. And this is just the beginning of your Floral Immersion experience. October 25, 2026 | Sine Pop, Cubao, Quezon City Limited slots available. Sign up through the link in our bio ✨

The world feels different when you’ve seen more of it. I’m grateful that at a young age, I was exposed to diversity, even in the workplace. Living in Korea and travelling in other countries allowed me to meet people from different parts of the world, and that experience quietly expanded how I see life. I’ve seen how ‘normal’ can mean something completely different depending on where you are, and that there’s no one way to see or do things. That’s why I’m always pushing myself to try new styles, explore different techniques, and keep evolving because growth only happens when you move beyond what feels familiar. #FloristJourney #CreativeJourney #CreativeProcess

Oceanic Fluidity | A Botanical Study in Light and Form Beginning with the idea that space and form are experienced as an immediate sensory presence before their details are fully unravelled, this study explores the boundary of fluid motion by deconstructing oceanic elements into sculptural forms. #SetDesign #FloralInstallation #SustainableFloristry #BotanicalStudy #ConceptArt Conceptualized by Dalnim Studio upon observing the stellar performance element 'water', specifically how movement flows through fabric, and drawing inspiration from Iris van Herpen’s avant-garde haute couture, this design transforms sheer, iridescent textiles and botanicals into an expression of aquatic life. Scribbles of a rough idea to recreate the shifting aquatic movement, honoring the beauty and vital energy of our deep seas. This design uses light and fabric as central artistic mediums. Living Corals🪸 It is also inviting us to look closely and appreciate the beauty of our waters. 🌊 Suspended amidst deep crimson blooms, fiery accents, sea-toned hydrangeas, and textural foliage, the fabric acts as liquid light, bridging organic nature with spatial set design. Creatives @dalnimstudio @morihanadesignstudio @kdesignsbloomsandstyle @anotherflowerstudio Through this process, the work emphasizes that fluidity is not just a physical state, but an immersive sensory experience. From initial concept to final execution, the piece was brought to life through hands-on experimentation, shared dialogue, and collective crafting by the team. A true study of how an idea evolves when given space to grow together. For bookings and inquiries, DM @dalnimstudio For private flower classes, DM @dfd.academy

Wearable Floral Art | Botanical Couture Design is an ongoing conversation between nature and structure. I wanted to explore how the exact same materials, sheer iridescent textiles, rich coral-toned blooms, and fluid textures, can yield entirely different emotions and spatial outputs when reframed into a wearable silhouette. Same materials, completely different perspective and form. Nature as couture. Light as fabric. Flowers as art. Botanical Study | Oceanic Fluidity Flow. Light. Ocean. 🪸🪼🌊 An exploration bridging the depths of the ocean with the lightness of air. Using flowers, light, and fabric as our medium, the sheer organza and refracting light translate the motion of deep-sea currents and bioluminescent life into space, surrounding a rich composition of vibrant, coral-like blooms. Inspiration: Iris Van Herpen, stellar & the deep sea.
