I still remember when I would put this song on the living room tv and slide around the living room before my T ball games. God blessed me with an incredible baseball career, teaching and molding me into who I am today through the struggles and the wins. However, it’s not about the game, it’s about the people the game brings you. I’m forever grateful for the people it brought me from when I was 4 years old until now. I’ll never fall out of love for the game that is so fine, it’s played on a diamond❤️💎

Blessed to play the game of baseball throughout my life. Thank you to everyone I’ve met along the way and I’m extremely grateful for everyone I’ve met the last four years. To say this final season of baseball was special is an understatement. Unfortunately, now it’s time to go get a J**. #1JEout

4 years flew by! Life lessons, friendships, and growth - you can't skip the struggle, but the view at the top is worth it….cheers to these awesome humans for never giving up! Super proud, B!

Most people know of B’s excellence on the mat, but her brains are just as impressive!
Today, she was awarded with the Carl Halgreen Certificate of Excellnce in Psychology!
It’s awarded to a senior who has achieved excellence in psychology and attains a high level of performance in other subject areas.
We couldn’t be there today, but @dferrin755 made sure she was loved and took pics for the parents on this special day! Super proud of my gal! She will graduate with a double major in a little under 2 weeks and head to graduate school in September! Super proud Mum! #wheredoesthetimego #Smartie #B #neuroscience #thebrain

Hear me out.. this is a long one.

This weekend we witnessed TEAM ONE make history once again. This group of TWELVE SENIORS made their last appearance at home.
Four years ago, a just under 30 yo dedicated coach took 15 Freshman and raised them to flourish not only in gymnastics but also in life! They have broken personal records, made new ones as a team and they continue to grind it out every single day. Each gymnast has had their lows, but boy have they also had their highs! It’s been such a joy cheering these ladies on.
An added bonus for Tim and I was we made some lifelong friends that we would have never met if it wasn’t for SCWG!
As for B, she’s been knocked down and gotten up more times than we can count but she ALWAYS rises and leads her team like no one I’ve ever been around. She sees all angles, all perspectives. When it doesn’t benefit her, she still fights for what’s right. When the beam moves, 😉 she gets right back in the fight, rooting on her teammate to get that win. Being a leader is more mental than anyone realizes. Even when you’re down, you still have a team to lift up and motivate and understand their feelings.
We are extremely proud of B and her gymnastics but more importantly, we are so proud of the woman she is and is becoming. Her teammates describe her “as a leader, the calm in the storm, composed and passionate.”
The ladies of SCWG have a couple more meets left plus conference, so…. Cheers to a run that was once just a dream and now has become reality.
This team gets better and better every year. We are 100% here for it!
Roll Storm! ⚡️

1st home meet & 1st time hosting in the new facility. The energy was electric, vibes were positive and the storm came out with a solid performance.
