Happy Father’s Day to David.
He is the king of dad jokes and a good ‘back in the day’ story.
He is a man who has a huge heart, is our constant and steady, and always gives sound advice.
Happy Father’s Day to the one that taught our children that no problem is too big, to love fiercely, to always give your best, to never give up, and that no pun is too terrible to be repeated.

I also want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to the young dads in our family too, Braden and Joshua. These young dads are raising our two grandsons with love, dignity, and laughter.

As time sinks in, I don’t even know where to begin. Saying goodbye to something that’s been such a huge part of my life for 5 years feels almost impossible. High school softball wasn’t just a sport — it was my whole world. It was the place where I found myself, where I grew, where I laughed until I cried, and sometimes cried because I cared so much. Also where I spent 90% of my life for 5 years and gave everything I had.

For years, this game has been everything. It’s where I learned what hard work really means, where I found family in my teammates, and where I created memories that I’ll hold onto forever. Every practice, every bus ride, every game — they were moments that built me.

I’ll miss the feeling of stepping onto the field with the biggest nervous feeling in my world, I’ll miss the late nights and the early mornings when I knew I was wore out. To my teammates — thank you for being my sisters. (especially the 2025 seniors). For every laugh, every pep talk, every time we lifted each other up. You made every moment worth it. To my coaches — thank you for believing in me, for pushing me, and for helping me become not just a better player, but a better person. To my family — thank you for being there through every inning, every loss, and every amazing win, it's means more than anything could describe.

Looking back on the last 4 years, I realize how lucky I was to have been part of something so special. This team, those moments, those people — they’ll always mean more to me than words can say. Scps softball has given me more than I ever could’ve imagined — confidence, strength, friendships, and lessons that go far beyond the field. ----------------------- Thank you, Savannah Christian softball, for being everything and more.
