Your closet is full. Someone’s interview outfit is in it.

✨What to donate
Business attire (formal and casual), shoes, handbags, jewelry, scarves, accessories, and seasonal outerwear. They also need jeans, scrubs, uniforms, and work apparel and footwear for women entering the trades and medical fields.

Seven bags of clothes came out of this one closet.

Yours probably holds a few too. Not because you shop too much. Because you’ve had fifteen full years and zero free Saturdays to go through any of it.

The blazer from two jobs ago. The heels that looked better in the store. The work pants you keep meaning to deal with.

This month they have somewhere to go.

The @powellchamber Annual Women’s Luncheon is collecting for @dfscolumbus, which outfits women for interviews and new jobs.

What they need: business attire (formal and casual), shoes, handbags, jewelry, scarves, accessories, and seasonal outerwear. Also jeans, scrubs, uniforms, and trade apparel.

Drop off now through October 31, bagged or boxed, during business hours:
- First Citizen Bank, 9595 Sawmill Pkwy, Powell
- COhatch Powell, 50 E Olentangy St
- COhatch Delaware, 18 E William St

No time or energy to go through it yourself?

Hand it to me. I’m offering a limited number of two hour closet sessions for the drive. I ask the hard questions, you decide once, and I drive the bags to the drop off for you. $200, clothing only, larger closets may need added time. Book by October 17 at organizewithkurnsie.com/dressforsuccess

Monday morning you get dressed in five minutes. And somewhere in Central Ohio, a woman buttons your blazer and walks into her interview ready.

You’ve built a closet full of “I paid good money for that.” What if those pieces could help build someone else’s career?

Dress for Success Columbus has been helping women across Central Ohio achieve economic independence since 2007. A woman who’s ready to work gets professional clothes for her interview, plus career coaching, mentoring and financial tools. Every service is free for every woman they serve. The right outfit won’t get her the job, but it helps her walk in feeling like the professional she already is.

This October, the Powell Chamber of Commerce is collecting interview and work clothes, medical apparel and accessories for Dress for Success Columbus. I’m doing my part the way I know best.

The Closet Reset: 2 hours of closet decluttering and organizing for $200.

We work side by side. I guide every keep or go decision so you’re not carrying them alone. When we’re done, your donations leave with me. Pieces that are ready for work go to the drive, and everything else goes to other local charities. You never load a bag.

Her closet, his closet or the kids’ closets are all welcome. Want more than 2 hours? Add them on the spot.

Only 15 sessions, and booking closes October 17.
Your closet gets breathing room. Another woman gets her shot. Book through the link in my bio.

There’s something so beautiful about an evening that celebrates women in every sense of the word. ✨

Dine. Drink. Dress. 2026 was more than a beautiful night, it was a reminder of what happens when women are surrounded by community, creativity, opportunity, and support. From the stunning fashion and powerful performances to the stories, laughter, and moments of connection, every detail felt intentional.

I left inspired by the women in the room, the women being celebrated, and the women creating space for others to shine. 🤎

Here’s to confidence, evolution, purpose, and women who continue to make room for one another. What a beautiful night. Thank you @dfscolumbus for having me. 🥂✨

What a beautiful reminder of the power of women celebrating women. 🖤✨

Habiba, thank you for your creativity and intentionality in creating spaces where women can thrive, be seen, celebrated, and given their flowers.

Grateful to be named to the Dress for Success Columbus 2026 Style List and to walk the D3 runway alongside so many amazing women.

Thank you for seeing me and giving me my flowers while I can still smell them. 💐

Dine. Drink. Dress. 2026 was everything I hoped it would be—and more.

There is something special about watching an idea that once lived in your head come to life.

This year’s theme, The Evolution, was so much more than a theme. It was a manifestation of everything my team and I have been working towards.

Women are evolving.
The way we work is evolving.
What women need to thrive is evolving.
And Dress for Success Columbus is evolving right alongside them.

Last night, we honored how far we’ve come while giving our community a glimpse of where we’re going. And let me tell you—something BIG is happening at Dress for Success Columbus.

And last night reminded me that we are part of something bigger. That evolution requires us to honor where we’ve been while having the courage to imagine what can come next.

And we’re just getting started.

The love that is shown, the love that is given, and the love received….
The opportunity to not only be on the other side of what life was, but to step into what is, is a blessing that cannot be expressed in words, but is deeply understood.
To be in the presence of this great community, these amazing BLACK MEN AND FATHERS, and to be honored in this way by @urbanfdc @urbanfamdc was the gift I didn’t know I needed. Then to follow it in celebration of my GURL, @thehabibabankston and @dfscolumbus with the homie @rhiannc was literally the filling of this cup that we often speak of, but rarely feel. I am beyond grateful and honored to have the memories of the last few days at the forefront of my spirit. Alhamdulillah
