I traded stickers with over 50-something artists at Miami Art Week. 😲 And this is why you go, kids! To network, get your name out there, and build community! You never know which artist is going to create a group show or a mural festival 😉 or have a project that they’d love to put you on! Too many to tag here but if you see yourself, drop a comment below!!!! Thanks a ton for being a friend! 😘🫶

✊🏽 FREE THEM ALL Featured artist wall of the amazing poster by our friend @hope.glastris.creative | “No Walls No Wars” Highlighting the theme of this project resisting false borders that detain migrants illegally on this stolen land, occupied Palestine and beyond. All while Trillions of dollars are wasted waging wars here and abroad to benefit the pockets and bloodlust of the few. This autonomous public art for all project amplifies the connected struggle of Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and Migrant families here against imperialist oppression, and the power our communities have to fight it together. Shoutout to all the artists that threw down to be a part of this! 👈 Swipe for to see these posters with others from the series on walls all over the city #WhatsThe411 #NoWallsNoWars #DCstreetart

FREE DC ⭐️ FREE GAZA Trump has taken over the Metropolitan Police Department. Additionally, he announced that he is sending in the National Guard, FBI and other agencies to deal with “crime”. Crime is at a low in the district and the DC community is organizing a fight back with the Free DC Project to defend the city and its residents | Rally held earlier today ⭐️ Meanwhile an enhanced occupation is attempting to sever Gaza’s lifeline to the world by targeting journalists and to isolate Gaza completely. Al-Sharif was assassinated by Israeli forces along with five other journalists when their press tent near Al Shifa Hospital was struck. The death toll of journalists and media workers in Gaza has now risen to over 238. 🇵🇸 Activist, Chef and Food educator Jinan Deena @falasteeenifoodie speaks about the connection between food sovereignty and the recent forced famine of Palestinians in Gaza directly caused by white surpremist imperialism. We’re honored to have Jinan join the No Walls No Wars street art poster project that we’ve launched all over DC to help bring attention to this important matter! And highlighted by @saludredux artwork. 🎥 filmed and edited by @anar_cam As a local Palestinian chef, Jinan feels that serving food explicitly tied to her identity is an important act not only because hospitality is so culturally important but also because Palestinians at home and abroad face severe forms of repression, including incarceration, when it comes to free speech, political organization, and many cultural expressions. #FalsteenFoodie #411Collective #NoWallsNoWars #FreePalestine
