✨Still trying to process the fact that my inner child dreamed about fashion, denim, creativity, traveling the world… and somehow, she made it all the way to Amsterdam. From dreaming to actually learning denim craftsmanship and sustainability at Denim city AMS… what an experience this has been.

Grateful to @denimcityams_ and everyone involved in this experience. for opening the doors to knowledge, inspiration and perspective. This journey has challenged me in ways I never expected, but it also reminded me why I love this industry so deeply.

A girl from Colombia is learning about denim in one of the most inspiring places in the world… and honestly? this is only the beginning.

When Team EDWIN Japan meets Team EDWIN Europe, they meet at Denim City Amsterdam.

It was an absolute honor to host the @edwineurope and @edwin_japan teams and show them our 6-meter denim wall—proudly stocked with EDWIN jeans and holding its title as a bestseller. Genuine Japanese denim for all the people of the world by EDWIN, for centuries to come.

Beyond the denim, we are incredibly proud to see the impact of @jeanschoolamsterdam out in the world. Not one, but two Jean School graduates are driving forces within their team:
Niels Mulder > designing the denim you love for both Europe and Japan
Daniel Reginald Woesthoff > managing the social media presence.

We took them on a trip down memory lane “back to Jean School” and toured the Denim City headquarters—from our archive and concept store to our repair/customization service and the live Laundry Lab.

Rembrandt in the house!

An exclusive collaboration: @houseofdenimfoundation x @museumrembrandthuis

In a series of six lessons, I had the privilege of teaching the talents of the House of Denim, inspired by the spirit of Rembrandt. The fact that the lessons took place at the Museum Rembrandthuis made the experience even more special.

Alongside fundamental fashion drawingskills, we focused on light and shadow, the draping of fabrics, line works, and more. Being in the former house of Rembrandt felt as if he was looking over your shoulder.
