DINA EL-SIOUFI — From Alexandria to London, Dina’s journey spans physics, French philosophy, and the canvas. Her paintings draw from opera, cultural memory, and the complexity of human identity — figures, fragments, and text colliding into something visceral and deeply felt.

ZACHARIAS DANIILAKIS — Born in Germany, raised in Greece, shaped by 30 years at sea. Zacharias has painted quietly and relentlessly alongside great masters, exhibiting in Florence, Berlin, and London. His portraits are still, powerful, and impossible to look away from.

Together, their work explores the lines that connect us — across culture, time, and experience.

Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector, the Egyptian Cultural Bureau in London—headed by Prof. Rasha Hussein—opened a distinguished art exhibition titled “JE est un Autre: Destiny of Identity” by Dr. dgfakhry9 Dina El Sioufi. The exhibition reflects the journey of identity and its transformations through culture, emotion, and human interaction.
Dr. Dina El Sioufi, born in Alexandria and raised in the United Kingdom, brings together science, the humanities, and the arts in her work, offering a profound artistic vision that captures moments of intense and delicate emotion, as well as the impact of human connection.
In her remarks, Prof. Rasha Hussein emphasized that the exhibition highlights how identity changes and reshapes through living in different cultures and interacting with others. Such experiences may lead us to new languages, cultures, and traditions—sometimes by choice and sometimes under circumstances beyond our control—reminding us that identity is not fixed, but an ongoing journey shaped by encounters and lived experiences.
The exhibition ran for one week, from 26 to 30 January 2026.

This beautiful and talented lady is Dina El-Siouf

Born in Alexandria, Dina grew up and studied in the U.K

Dina holds a BSc in Physics and Post-Grad Diploma in Mathematical Physjcs @kcl_london , MA Staging the Feminine in Balthus & Pierre Klossowski at @birkbeckinternational and a PhD Hans Bellmer & the Experience of Violence at @ucl

El-Siouf started studying painting in 2010 in London at RDS, Heatherleys.

Dina’s paintings are part of private and public collections in the UK, Austria, Kuwait, Egypt, France, to mention a few countries.

Currently showcasing a selection of paintings at SHAPING THE MOMENT
a group-show a co-curated with @artmoorhouse_london

I’m delighted to be part of the Group show Re, presented by Ed Cross Fineart @edcrossfineart alongside wonderful artists :Dina El- Sioufi, Wole Lagunju and Freya Tewelde.

In Re, Ed Cross presents the work of four artists as they reiterate, repeat and restage. Their subjects have all appeared elsewhere in some incarnation, hence the again-ness – or the ‘in reference to’ of a long email chain – implied by the show’s title. Across painting, video and performance, Re offers an arena for careful reinterpretation and passionate revision alike; in concert, the exhibition broaches new ground as well as treading old paths with fresh fervour.’
