POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

THE STARS ARE ALREADY HERE. 🎬

There’s been a lot of conversation about what Netflix coming to Monmouth County could mean.

Will celebrities move here? Will productions bring more attention? Will Monmouth County become the next big entertainment destination?

But maybe we’re asking the wrong question.

Because some of the people commanding a worldwide audience are already from here.

Alix Earle and her family have taken their lives from Monmouth County to millions of followers — and now to a global Netflix audience with Earle Meets World. Netflix describes the series as an unfiltered look behind the scenes of Alix’s life and family, and specifically notes that sister Ashtin grew up in Monmouth County.

And that’s what I think gets lost in the conversation about Netflix coming here.

Monmouth County doesn’t suddenly become interesting when the studios arrive.

The people, stories, locations, money, talent and culture have been here.

Netflix isn’t bringing the spotlight to Monmouth County.

It’s about to make what’s already here shine a whole lot brighter.

What do you think Monmouth County looks like five years from now?

From the first phone call with @davidgrutman and @alixearle more than three years ago to a worldwide premiere on @Netflix today… Earle Meets World has been quite a ride.

@dgnstudios and @mrbenwinston’s amazing team at @fulwell worked incredibly hard to make a show we’re all really proud of with @ally_gbaby @so_croissant and @doublegnyc leading the charge and @mollie.block and @hlpine26 with Netflix. It’s finally out in the world, hope you enjoy it!

Really excited to finally share this one.

EARLE MEETS WORLD is the first series from @dgnstudios, and a pretty incredible way for us to get started.

Everyone already knows Alix Earle, but this show opens up her world in a completely different way. We spent the last year with Alix and her family, behind the scenes for some of the biggest moments of her life and career.

Really proud of the show and excited for everyone to finally see it. And just the beginning for DGN.

EARLE MEETS WORLD is the first series from @dgnstudios, and we couldn’t have asked for a bigger way to start.

Everyone knows Alix Earle. But they’ve never seen her like this. Over the past year, we were there for some of the biggest moments of her life and career, with unprecedented access to Alix, her family and the world around her.

And this is just the beginning.
