Today we celebrated my Nana’s 80th birthday. ❤️

This morning at church, we heard about passing our faith to our children through our faith stories. Looking at this photo, I realized I’m seeing four generations of faith.

My Nana faithfully passed her love for Jesus to my Aunt Cindy, and together they became a huge part of my own faith story. During one of the scariest and loneliest seasons of my young adult life, when I felt consumed by shame and expected judgment, they showed me something completely different. They showed me the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus. They reminded me that He never left me and that His love never failed.

Now, as I prepare to turn 40 in just a couple of weeks, my heart is full of gratitude. Because of my Nana’s faithfulness, I have the privilege of passing that same legacy of faith on to Demi and Jace. My prayer is that it continues to their children and to generations still to come.

Happy 80th Birthday, Nana. Thank you for the legacy you’ve built and the faith you’ve lived. I love you so very much. 🤍

If there is one thing this girl does it’s work hard at anything she does! Can’t wait to watch her on the court!🤍🏐
