Een bijzonder bericht om met jullie te delen

Gisteravond kreeg ik bericht dat ik internationaal finalist ben bij de AIPP Awards 2025-2026, in de categorie Best Color.

En eerlijk… daar ben ik ontzettend trots op.

De AIPP Awards zijn een internationale vakwedstrijd binnen de professionele haarwereld. In de categorie Best Color wordt gekeken naar kleur, originaliteit en de kwaliteit van het totale werk. Dat mijn werk tussen inzendingen van haarprofessionals uit verschillende landen is geselecteerd, voelt als een waanzinnige erkenning voor mijn vakmanschap.

Maar deze nominatie gaat voor mij niet alleen over een award.

Het gaat over waar ik iedere dag in de salon voor sta:
kleur die mooi is, past bij jou en met aandacht voor de kwaliteit en gezondheid van je haar.

En daarom wil ik dit moment ook met jullie delen.

Want zonder jullie vertrouwen, jullie haar en alle mooie kleurtrajecten die we samen creëren , zou ik dit werk niet kunnen maken.

Dankjewel aan @aippcoiffure voor deze internationale erkenning en natuurlijk aan iedereen die mijn werk door de jaren heen heeft gevolgd, vertrouwd en mogelijk gemaakt.

Ik ga vooral genieten van dit moment
…en ondertussen gewoon weer verder met waar mijn hart ligt: mooi, gezond en persoonlijk passend haar.

Top 50 Finalist bij @oneshothairawards @behindthechair_com in de categorie Big Shot Hair Color Shot ✨

Mijn vierde nominatie in de wereldwijde #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards. Een competitie waarin honderdduizenden inzendingen uit meer dan 120 landen samenkomen en waar de Big Shot-categorie het allerbeste op het gebied van editorial haarkunst en fotografie viert.

Wat ooit begon als de vraag: “Kan je als eenpitter eigenlijk meedoen aan zulke grote internationale competities?” heeft inmiddels een heel duidelijk antwoord gekregen: ja.

Maar misschien is dat niet eens het mooiste. Het mooiste is de reis. De mensen die je ontmoet, de gesprekken met gelijkgestemden, het delen van dezelfde passie en het besef dat dit niet vanzelf ontstaat. Achter elk beeld schuilt toewijding, eindeloos proberen, leren en opnieuw beginnen.

Juist daarom voelt een plek in de Top 50 tussen zoveel internationaal talent als iets om enorm dankbaar voor te zijn.

En ja… dit mag gevierd worden.

✨ Mijn derde nominatie is een feit! ✨

Met ontzettend veel trots mag ik delen dat ik ben genomineerd voor de #ONESHOT Hair Awards. De grootste en meest prestigieuze haarcompetitie ter wereld. Jaarlijks worden er honderdduizenden inzendingen uit meer dan 120 landen beoordeeld door een internationale vakjury. Alleen al een nominatie tussen al dat wereldwijde talent voelt als een enorme eer.

Dit jaar ben ik geselecteerd in de Top 50 van de categorie Big Shot Texture Shot. Een categorie waarin artistieke editorial looks worden beoordeeld op creativiteit, techniek en de manier waarop textuur tot leven komt in beeld.

Dat dit inmiddels mijn derde nominatie is, maakt het extra bijzonder. Elke keer opnieuw voelt het als een bevestiging dat passie, hard werken en blijven groeien worden gezien ook op internationaal niveau.

Ontzettend dankbaar voor iedereen die deel uitmaakt van mijn reis. Op naar alles wat nog komt!

I am incredibly proud to share that I have been nominated for the #ONESHOT Hair Awards—the largest and most prestigious hair competition in the world. Each year, hundreds of thousands of entries from over 120 countries are judged by an international panel of experts. Simply being nominated alongside such global talent feels like a tremendous honor.

This year, I was selected for the Top 50 in the “Big Shot Texture Shot” category. This category evaluates artistic editorial looks based on creativity, technique, and how texture is brought to life in the image.

The fact that this is my third nomination makes it even more special. Each time, it feels like confirmation that passion, hard work, and continuous growth are being recognized—even on an international level.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who is part of my journey. Here’s to everything yet to come!

🇳🇱Soms is de erkenning al de overwinning.

Ik ben ontzettend trots dat mijn collectie is genomineerd voor de One Shot Awards én de Behind the Chair Top 25 Hair Color Collection. Een van de grootste en meest prestigieuze Amerikaanse wedstrijden binnen de kappersbranche, waar hairstylisten en coloristen van over de hele wereld hun beste werk insturen.

Dat ik ben genomineerd in misschien wel de moeilijkst te jureren categorie, Hair Color Collection, maakt deze erkenning extra bijzonder.

Kleur is mijn passie. Het is eindeloos experimenteren, ontdekken, opnieuw beginnen, leren en blijven groeien. Jarenlang werken aan een visie waarvan je soms niet eens zeker weet of je er ooit zult komen.

Deze nominatie gaat voor mij niet over winnen. Ze staat voor de reis. Voor elke stap, elke uitdaging en elk moment waarop ik besloot niet op te geven.

En juist dát maakt me ongelooflijk gelukkig.
