A Martian's photo
highlights of some recent, alien adventures. Celebrating my 33rd rotation on this planet, on the third of August with some close friends at #creeksidediscgolf Then attending some EPIC concerts with bad ass homies and my incredible partner!!! Capping off the month, with my cousin's INCREDIBLE wedding at a gorgeous vineyard in Livermore, California. I had a chance to reconnect with family, some of whom I hadn't seen in 15 years.

I'm finally getting around to posting some of my favorite moments and photos from Our Revival this year. With everything from opening ceremonies to Ivy League professors speaking about psychedelics. Then, being introduced to a hammered dulcimer or watching our absolutely badass production team run the event. With Kai and I guiding our growing volunteer community (this year we more than doubled the number of registered volunteers), also having the pleasure to work with an absolutely kick ass medical and security team.
.
.
A big thank you from the bottom of this alien heart to everyone who was involved in any way... ❤️💯🙏 I'm already looking forward to next year.

Some more hilarious shots of me graduating from @saltlakecc last week at the @maverik_center . I went back to SLCC in 2018 after my mother, Wanda Mary Weir, passed away from cancer.
.
One thing I've learned is how to succeed in academia. You must have that internal motivation, that push and drive, your own personal reason why... I love and miss you every day, Wanda. I know you'd be proud of me, and I'm eternally grateful for everything you ever taught me...

Who would’ve known these amazing humans would become such an important part of my life?

So many lonely nights spent wondering if I should just put a “mask” on to hang out with people I no longer resonated with. But I knew that wouldn’t serve me or where I wanted to get to.

So I just kept doing the work, getting to know myself at the deepest levels. Healing trauma, strengthening the relationship I have with myself and learning to hold space for others to do the same.

When the time was right, I met a community that welcomed me with open arms and I welcomed them right back!

Life is beautiful!🥰

☔️☔️☔️Felt good to be back in the shop, thank you everyone who came and continue to book appointments with me. Honestly, didn’t feel much different then the precautions I took the last 10 years before covid 19. I’m excited to be back, and I’m excited for what’s next in this crazy world. Stay blessed friends. Now go put on “return of the Mack” and vibe with the kid 🙌🙌🙌🙌 #barber #saltlakecitybarber #jahn #babb #mask4all #hittersonly #shopjunkies

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
