June! “There is nothing such as a risk with the Lord.” I’m not sure who wrote it to me, but it’s a mindset I still need to be reminded of every once in a while. 🌅

what i missed most about LA was how freely we gave our time to God— sitting on a wooden floor in a house with no electricity, worshipping for hours, soaked in His presence, lavished in His love. you could find a worship night any day of the week.

but when i came back to nyc, i found myself distracted, burdened, busy. quiet moments were hard to come by, stillness felt sacred—but rare. and even when i found it, it was often in isolation. yet God doesn’t just call us to solitude. He calls us to community.

so, i created kindred— a space to rest, to fellowship, to breathe. for anyone searching for God in the rush, for those craving stillness, a safe place to grow, a community to call home, a refuge when the city leaves you running on empty.
