So I joined the di Mossa’s contemporary dance class today at Morgan Community Center. I haven’t done modern dance since moving to Nashville and in college. I bumbled along but the group is fantastic and I watched as they did a combination today and recorded. #dimossa #nashvilledance #highlyrecommended

The history of Nashville Dance Collective continues with Fall Collections I!

In November 2024, we added a new show to our season: Fall Collections! Hosted by Centennial Performing Arts Studios, this show was an informal, intimate gathering of the Nashville dance community. NDC members, Delaine Dobbs, Kate Fleming, and Taylor Randolph were joined by local choreographers Megan Barbee, Koko French, and Lisa Valeri to present six new works to nearly sold out audiences over two evening performances.

We are so grateful for our community and this wonderful opportunity to create and perform among the incredible dancers here in Nashville! We hope to bring back a fall performance again in our upcoming seasons!

WHAT A YEAR!!!

2025 has truly been the wildest and best year of my life, and I’m leaving it full of joy and gratitude. This year, I bought a house. I performed with Di Mossa, NDC, FALL, Satellite Dance, and Nocturne Dance while still working at Vanderbilt as a social worker and teaching at MOVE Inclusive. I travelled to Maryland, Missouri, Alabama, and just an hour away in Tennessee to see some incredible friends get married. I GOT MARRIED! I got to celebrate my wedding with the most incredible bachelorette trip in Gulf Shores, bridal showers thrown by friends and family, and a mini-moon with my husband after the big the day. I went to Las Vegas with Alex for Lady Gaga and Chicago with Matthew for MCR. I got to be my spookiest self in Salem. I can’t believe it all happen this year.

It’s a wonderful life, and I’m so lucky to be living it surrounded by the most amazing people. I don’t see how it can get much better than this, but I’m sure excited to see what’s ahead in 2026✨

On the topic of being thankful, my cup is filled (mostly with coffee but also love, joy, friends and all the sappy stuff)

We thought Falling Into Place was supposed to happen just like that, but Mother Nature was showing many different meanings of falling…. Like rain, snow, and wind. Everything happened just as it was supposed to. Thank you to everyone who came to perform and to the audience! So much love!

We have all wrestled with those, mostly private, conversations taking place inside our heads. Tonight we are going to bring them to the stage.”
