French Press ⭐⭐ A new line from @arete_theory fun moves and a hard mantle unless you're on the smaller side 😅 Sunday funday with @captn_chris_picard and @ineluctablebase French Press ⭐⭐ Incarcerated Boulder Area, Caves Trail South Haycock, PA

Smiley Face ✅ Quite the classic. Good holds (especially if you can skip the bad intermediary crimp), decent movement, nice juggy top out. Being shorter than my height or having shorter reach really makes this thing pretty difficult! Tons of people out this past weekend. Glad to see so many buds and meet new folks! Overlord ⭐⭐⭐ An old school classic. Probably one of the best in its grade range at the park. Good holds, fun movement, decent landing. Been wanting to try this for at least a year now but never knew the path there. Glad I know now. Highly recommend this climb! Fun day out with @captn_chris_picard and meeting new friends! Overlord ⭐⭐⭐ Wave Boulder, Shamu Area Mt Gretna, PA

Left Bookend ⭐⭐⭐ Considered a classic around its grade range. I really enjoyed the first few moves. The top out was more committing than id like it to be though 😅 Thankfully, the landing is pretty good. Fun Friday out w/ @sam.pancakes - we got on so much stuff that day. Fun to show them around a new-to-them area 🤙 Left Bookend ⭐⭐⭐ Feel My Pain/Bookend Boulder, Shamu Area Mt Gretna, PA

Josh in the Box ⭐⭐ The gains from RR are real. Couldn't do this like 1 year ago but it went on Friday. The climb is pretty short but the movement is very unique and a bit fun (more challenging than it is fun though). Great day out w/ @sam.pancakes even tho our Gunks trip got rained out! Josh in the Box ⭐⭐ The Box Boulder, Shamu/Bulge Area Mt Gretna, PA

Great first day out shooting some images for this seasons magazine. Took last season off to focus on climbing and build my pyramid, excited to make another awesome project with my friends. Marcel was working on Samus Direct, Michael ran a lap on Samus (which he publicly committed to doing every weekend), Madelyn and I tried Samus and both made good links! Psyched to come back to this climb when it isn’t sprinkling out to actually try it.

I can hardly believe it. After so much self doubt, the stars aligned and I was able to put down a Haycock classic today. I was so sure I was falling off on the right hand flip at the end that I didn’t even realize I was on top of the boulder seconds later. My last two projects have taught me invaluable lessons on mindset and my mental approach to climbing. Beyond psyched for what’s to come. Big shout out to @whatsundaysarefor for the confidence boost. Maybe it was the @diabasedclimbing shirt 🤔. Black Angus v9
