@dialforest @dial.electronico

☆.𓋼𓍊 𓆏 𓍊𓋼𓍊.☆ Some shoots that i dont know where to post accompanied with many thoughts from the first half of summer. (That i also dont know where to put) enjoy :) ⛧°. °⛧ Some of the highest highs, some very deep lows. Moments where I’ve felt incredibly certain about where I’m going, and others where I’ve questioned almost everything. I’m slowly understanding that maybe one can’t really exist without the other. I’ve been thinking a lot about roots lately. I was born in Central America, and so much of who I am as an artist comes from there. From the places where I first discovered music, the people I grew up around, the dancefloors that taught me what this could mean, and all the versions of myself that existed before I ever imagined building a life somewhere else. Moving to Europe two and a half years ago didn’t erase those roots. If anything, distance made me understand them differently. But something else happened too: I started growing new ones🌱 I’ve been DJing since 2019, but moving here somehow felt like a second reborn. I had to rediscover my place in music, my references, my community and, in many ways, myself. Migration changed the way I understand home and belonging, and inevitably changed the way I listen and the music I want to play. This year especially has asked me to let go of things I thought I needed to hold onto. Certain spaces, relationships, expectations and versions of my career had become attached to how I understood myself as an artist. And I’ve learned that sometimes we hold onto something not because it still belongs to us, but because we’re afraid of who we’ll be without it. Letting go has been uncomfortable. I questioned myself. I made myself smaller. I felt that strange distance between what was actually happening around me and what I believed I deserved. And then, somehow, this same year has given me some of the most meaningful moments of my journey so far. Now i understand...My identity lives in that movement. Im just grateful. For what Stayed, what left & for the people who belive in what i am building. And for the strange privilege of getting to meet myself over and again and again through music. 💋

We are still full & inspired a week after the 1st @dialforest 🌳💛 built with love, felt with soul, and shared with the best people!! ⋆｡ ⋆｡ ⋆｡ ⋆｡ ⋆｡ ⋆｡
