THE SUNDAY STANDARD | #7

"And don't disappear when you feel inadequate." ~ Alice (from Ted Lasso)

Sometimes, the hardest part of being an athlete isn't the physical work.

It's showing up when you don't feel good enough.

When the jumps aren't there.
When your confidence takes a hit.
When everyone else seems to be improving, and you're wondering if you're falling behind.
When you're struggling to be the athlete you know you can be.

Those are the moments when it's tempting to pull away. To stop talking. To stop asking questions. To stop letting people see you struggle.

But those are the moments you need your people the most.

You don't have to be performing at your best to be a valuable part of this squad.

You don't have to have all the answers.
You don't have to pretend everything is okay.
You don't have to earn the right to be supported by having a good practice.

Show up.
Stay connected.
Let people help you.
Keep doing the work.

Your teammates aren't just here to celebrate your best jumps. They're here for the days when you can't seem to find them.

And you owe them that same presence in return.

Because this is bigger than track and field.

When you feel inadequate, don't isolate yourself. When you struggle, don't disappear. When you need help, let someone in.

You belong here on the good days.

You belong here on the hard days, too.

THE STANDARD: We don't leave people behind, and we don't leave ourselves behind.

There are too many good things we could say about Parker. Training with us now for over 4 years, his consistency has seen progress most people only ‘hope’ for.
Playing college baseball is demanding, and he is always prepared for the demands because of his unrelenting Ownership. We get to experience his Authenticity through jokes, rock paper scissor battles, and his drive to get stronger!

So I won my first Summoner Skirmish yesterday, honestly such a awesome experience. I’m super grateful for all the homies I got to play and said congrats y’all are what makes this game so fun to play and the community so strong. Shoutout to the MVP the 6🔸 spider for helping me with my “Hunt” to secure the dub. Will post deck list on story!

Keegan has shown his desire to grow since day 1! He has been training with us 3x a week for several months, and his physical development as well as his personal growth have been monumental!
•
Keegan shows Ownership in his consistency, his personality is always demonstrating his Authenticity, and the way he encourages and helps the other athletes he trains alongside makes it look like Service is a no-brainer.
•
We can’t wait to see Keegan continue to grow and improve both in the weight room and on the field!
Congratulations Keegan! You earned it 💪🏽
