✨ PYG Legends ✨

They practiced right here in our gym, chasing big dreams one skill at a time. Now their names hang proudly as a reminder of what dedication, perseverance, and a love for the sport can achieve.

These banners honor our PYG alumni who continued their gymnastics careers at the collegiate level. Their journeys inspire the athletes training beneath them every day and remind us that big dreams can start in a small gym.

Once a PYG gymnast, always a PYG gymnast. 💙🤍

At Diamond D Ranch, Sydney and Dalton Dicks are committed to raising quality beef. Their cattle are born, raised and finished right on the ranch, with ownership maintained every step of the process until harvest.

When you purchase from a Sweet Grown Alabama member, you know exactly where your food comes from— locally raised with integrity by Alabama farmers. That's the difference local makes.

Read more about Diamond D Ranch on the Sweet Grown Alabama Blog at the link in our bio.

Downtown Montgomery was filled with Sweet Grown Alabama products on this chilly Tuesday at our annual Legislative Luncheon!

Farmers, agriculture industry leaders and friends joined members of the Alabama Legislature and other elected officials for a luncheon featuring local beef from Diamond D Ranch (Ramer) and veggies from The Mathis Mini Farm (Clanton).

Special thanks to the Alabama Agribusiness Council and its members for co-hosting this event with us to showcase the united front and teamwork present in the Alabama agriculture industry. We also appreciate the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association for allowing us to use your wonderful location and FDL - Gourmet To Go for preparing our delicious local meal!

We’re so grateful for the continued support of our legislators to allow us to connect Alabama consumers with high-quality local products!

Only $10 for this beautiful, giant, heavy focaccia?! I bought it before the rush arrived just to make sure I got one. I can't believe @wildyeastkitchen 's low prices. Even her sourdough loaves 🥖🥖 are affordable! I'm tempted to become a subscriber. 🤔 You might be, too, once you see her menu and pricing.

She also has goodies 🥐 that would pair well with your morning coffee... or with a $5 chai ☕ from her farmstand neighbor @lostcreekherbs

You can't miss these on Saturdays! They are located next to each other at the downtown Montgomery Curb Market.

If you need local, all-natural beef, stop by Sidney's stand @diamond_d_ranch_beef

Swing by and walk around the whole building! You might find something else around the corner.

I met Jane who is a farmer just a few miles away. They have some good looking collards at their farmstand as well as beautiful farm fresh eggs. I can't remember her farm name or else I'd try to tag them.

Next time I'm there I'll try to meet more vendors and let you know what they have. I really want to meet the vendor who does compost bucket swaps. Connect us if you can! I think she's with @eatsouth

Thanks to everyone who bought some eggs from me today or who stopped by to chat. One lady I met dyes fabrics using indigo she grows!!! We totally vibed. 🤗

Breaking news: An Alabama Couple Braves Winter Storm to Bring You Better Beef

This past week Dalton and I were in Madison Wisconsin learning from the most experienced experts in regenerative agriculture at the @acresusa conference

Here’s why that matters for our patrons:

The best way to improve land is with the use of multi-species grazing, so keep your eyes open for some new additions to the menu 🐷 🐔

We met with the world’s most famous farmer @joel_salatin from @polyfacefarm and with Will Harris from @whiteoakpastures who’s just next door in Georgia.

We also learned from grass fed genetics expert Steve Campbell with @tailormaderanch about even more improvements we can make to bring you the most tender beef in Alabama.

Then we sat in our lectures from Dr. Will Winter, the holistic all-natural vet for @thousandhillslg

We also got to meet @theorganicvet Dr. Karreman and his wife who prioritize natural ways to improve the grazing potential of their land, to raise healthy milk cows!

Dan from @essential___energy let us help him at his booth and share about the importance of protecting yourself from non-native EMF radiation, with a cool demonstration that showed why you should be aware how close your phone is to your head!

Daltons also caught some footage of me asking @drnashawinters about tips for incorporating fasting into your daily life as a woman. Her response was focused on eating when the sun is shining, not before or after.

PS, stay till the end to see what a blue heeler from the south thinks about the snow ❄️

We stopped by the @arkencounter on our way to the @acresusa conference and it was SO worth it!

They built Noah’s Ark to scale according to the description given to us in Genesis, and we thought you’d appreciate this sculpture of what they believe the “cattle kind” on the Ark looked like!

Here at Diamond D Ranch, we believe every word in the Bible. God created each animal and there is a lot of evidence for why this is true, and why Darwin’s theory of evolution is false. The Ark Encounter and Answers.tv explain all the science and debunk the false claims amid throughout history that try to subtly diminish the authority of the Bible.

Have you been to the Ark? If not, add it to your bucket list now!

This is why we don’t leave the gate open … even if we’ll just “be right back” 🙃

Have you ever had a conversation with the person raising the food you eat?

Do you know the difference in buying local vs from a grocery store?

Have you heard about homeopathy for food animals?

Talk about raw feeding 😉

My favorite part was the moment he knew what his job was… my little hunter 🐅
