💰⚾️ REAL LIFE. REAL DECISIONS. REAL OPPORTUNITY.

The Digital Harbor boys got a different kind of workout at the BUBA Financial Reality Fair!

Each player was handed a “life portfolio” that gave them a monthly income, family situation, and real responsibilities. From there, they had to work their way through stations covering food, transportation, health insurance, lifestyle expenses, and everyday financial decisions.

Let’s just say… adulthood got expensive QUICK. 😂💸

But that’s what made the experience so valuable. Our guys had to think, make decisions, adjust their spending, and get a small taste of what managing real-life responsibilities looks like.

And the night went way beyond financial literacy.
Our players also had the opportunity to spend time with student-athletes from Towson University and Stevenson University. They got to talk baseball, ask questions, hear about the college experience, and simply be around young men who are currently doing something many of our players aspire to do.

That type of access matters. That mentorship matters. Those relationships matter.

We can’t thank BUBA and Diamond Collective enough for inviting Digital Harbor into the room and continuing to create meaningful opportunities for our young men. You guys have welcomed our program, believed in what we’re building, and continued to find ways to invest in our players both on and off the field.
And a huge thank you to the student-athletes and programs at Towson and Stevenson for taking the time to pour into our guys. Having college baseball players willing to talk, listen, answer questions, and be examples for the next generation is something we truly appreciate.

This is exactly what we want Digital Harbor Baseball to represent.

Hey everyone! This isn’t something that I normally post, but I’m doing it because I’m an Ambassador for The Diamond Collective. They’re a Baltimore-based nonprofit that creates access and opportunities through baseball and softball.

I wanted to share with you guys some of what happened during the month of September!

First, UMBC Baseball & Softball players have been coming into the facility, working directly with young athletes and giving them exposure to Division I-level instruction and mentorship.

On top of that, Under Armour brought 40 of the best high school baseball players in the country to The Diamond Collective, where they gave back to more than 60 young athletes through a camp featuring instruction, gear, mentorship, and more. ‼️

Also, J.A. Stephens, Maryland’s #1-ranked outfielder and a McDonogh HS sophomore, partnered with The Diamond Collective through his nonprofit, Diamonds of Hope, and led a baseball clinic for more than 20 kids.

To help create more opportunities like these, you can support through my Ambassador Campaign. Any amount helps and as you can see, your support is helping create some pretty amazing experiences for young people.

Towson Tigers. Baltimore mentors. ⚾️

Meet Joey and Tanner —our lead mentors for the Roland Park after-school program!

They joined us at The Diamond Collective for mentor orientation, preparing to help students build skills, confidence, and leadership through our University Partner Program.

We kick off October 13, with sessions every Tuesday and Thursday. Thank you to Towson Baseball, Coach Liam Bowen, and our Roland Park partners!

Help us welcome Joey and Tanner! 🧡🖤

Our University Partners showed up in a BIG way during the 2025–2026 season.

Student-athletes from five university partners contributed an incredible 401 volunteer hours across 154 volunteer sessions supporting BUBA and the young people we serve.

A special thank you to:

CCBC Catonsville — 120 hours
UMBC — 109.5 hours
Lincoln University — 86 hours
Stevenson University — 73.5 hours
Notre Dame of Maryland University — 12 hours

What makes these partnerships special goes far beyond the numbers. College student-athletes are not just visitors at BUBA — they are mentors, role models, coaches, and examples of what is possible for the next generation.

Thank you to each university, athletic department, coach, and student-athlete who invested their time in Baltimore’s young people.

This is what community amplified looks like.

Leadership does not go on sale! No discounts or short cuts just work!

40 of the top high school baseball players from across the country coming together to teach 60+ kids from 10 different Baltimore Little Leagues the game that unites us all… BASEBALL! ⚾️

And to top it all off, one of my own athletes is playing in the game. God is real! 🙏🏽

I used to dream about becoming an Under Armour Baseball All-American myself. God had a different plan for me and a much bigger mission.

Instead of being one of the players on the field, I was blessed with the opportunity to help create an experience that brought the next generation closer to the game.

Full-circle moment. Bigger than baseball.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life!

Man, what a weekend!

Had the opportunity to spend yesterday with 40 of the best high school baseball players in the country as part of the Under Armour All-America experience.

I got a chance to spend some real time with these young men and, more importantly, hear from them. I asked a lot of questions, and some of their answers really stuck with me.

These guys come from all over the country and have taken different paths to get here. But as I listened, I kept hearing some of the same things about what it takes to play at this level. That definitely got the coach in me thinking.

It was also pretty cool having one of the All-Americans representing right here from the Baltimore area.

Really appreciate the @diamondcollectivecrew for putting me in the room and Project Rampart and Under Armour for creating this experience. I was proud to be there representing the baseball communities I'm fortunate enough to be a part of, from Hamilton to Saint Frances Academy and throughout Baltimore.

And I got a chance to watch these dudes play. ⚾️
