🏆 WORLD CHAMPION! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Edward Watts, Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science student at Bridgwater College, who has been crowned World Champion in his weight class at the ABPU World Championships!

In just eight weeks since competing at the national championships, Edward has increased his total lift by an incredible 20kg, an incredible achievement in his first year of competitive powerlifting.

Edward’s championship-winning lifts included:

🏋🏻‍♀️Squat: 265kg (AWPC World Record)
💪🏼Bench Press: 145kg (AWPC World Record)
🏋🏻‍♀️Deadlift: 255kg
🔥Total: 665kg (AWPC World Record)

His 265kg squat is also recognised as the highest weight ever lifted in the UK for his age and weight category across all powerlifting federations.

What an incredible achievement! Edward’s dedication, discipline and determination have taken him to the very top of his sport, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. 👏🏻

Congratulations Ed on an extraordinary achievement! 🏆

While everyone else is still catching their breath from an unforgettable weekend, here is your first official look at the history made at The Lighthouse Theatre.

This isn’t just an event, it’s a movement. Months of gruelling camps, intense training, and unmatched community spirit culminated in a night that completely shifted the landscape of Tamil white collar boxing.

Massive respect to every single fighter who stepped through those ropes and left everything in the ring. This is your legacy. 🐅🔥

BUILT UNDER PRESSURE. UNITED BY PURPOSE. 💎🐅

Some sponsors support an event.
Others believe in the vision behind the movement.

We’re proud to recognise DIAMOND PHYSIQUE as an Official Founding Sponsor of VETRI.

What makes this partnership even more meaningful is how closely our visions align.

Diamond Physique has a mission to make fitness a bigger part of the Tamil community, encouraging our people to train, become healthier, challenge themselves and discover what they’re capable of.

That speaks directly to what we’re building at VETRI.

For us, boxing has always been bigger than fighting. It’s about using sport to build confidence, discipline, resilience and stronger people — while creating a platform that inspires the next generation of our community.

Different lanes. Same purpose.

When VETRI was still a vision, they saw what it could become and chose to support the journey. That kind of belief is something we will never forget.

As both brands grow, we hope we can continue pushing the same message:

More of our community moving.
More of our community training.
More of our community believing in themselves.
And a stronger generation coming behind us.

Welcome to the foundations of VETRI, DIAMOND PHYSIQUE. 💎🤝🐅

ONE VISION • ONE COMMUNITY • ONE MOVEMENT

Answering some of the questions we’ve been getting lately… and honestly, seeing Tamil girls step up and embrace this movement has been powerful 👊🏽🔥

This is bigger than boxing. This is confidence, representation and breaking barriers together.

Thank you all for the support, together we’re stronger:
