POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some songs are written. Others feel like they’re given to you.

Shortly after my father passed away, I had a dream about him.

In that dream, I found myself explaining why I hadn’t visited him enough during the final years of his life.

When I woke up, I knew I had to turn that conversation into a song.

“IF THIS IS THE END” became my second single as a solo artist, and it remains one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written.

This remastered version is being re-released on 21st November, one week after the remastered re-release of “WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY” as part of my 10-year journey as a solo artist.

This song is dedicated to my father and his memory 💔

Sometimes music gives us the opportunity to say the things we never got the chance to say…

🎬 TOMORROW NIGHT 🎬

Tomorrow at 8pm, the official music video for DELUSIONAL premieres on YouTube @youtube

Set in an empty audition venue after hours, the video follows a cleaner left alone with nothing but his thoughts, his imagination and the dreams he thought he’d left behind.

It’s a story about ambition, self-belief and that question we’ve all asked ourselves at some point:

When does believing in yourself become delusional?

This has been months in the making and I’m so excited for you to finally see it.

⏰ Premieres tomorrow at 8pm (UK)

Set your reminder and join me for the premiere I’ll be on the red carpet from 7.45pm waiting to greet you at www.alandreezer.com or via my YouTube channel

🎬 OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE 🎬

This Sunday at 8pm, the official music video for DELUSIONAL premieres on YouTube.

The song explores that uncomfortable space between ambition and reality. The moments when you ask yourself whether you’re chasing a dream because you believe in it… or whether everyone else might be right.

The video tells the story of a cleaner working late in an audition venue after the room has been set up for the following day’s auditions. Alone with his thoughts, he finds himself imagining what it would be like to step into the spotlight himself. As fantasy and reality begin to blur, he’s forced to confront the question at the heart of the song:

Is he delusional for dreaming of something more, or is holding onto that dream the bravest thing he can do?

I’m incredibly proud of how this one turned out and I can’t wait for you to see it.

Behind The Music – Track 11: “BITTERSWEET”
(Royce Wood Jr Remix)
Collaboration

The final track on the album ends with something very special.

“Bittersweet” returns in an exclusive remix by Grammy-nominated producer Royce Wood Jr @roycewoodjunior_
A producer and artist whose work I’ve admired for a long time.

Royce has collaborated with and produced for some incredible talent, bringing his distinctive blend of soul, electronic textures and emotional depth to everything he touches.

When I first heard what he’d done with “Bittersweet”, it completely reimagined the song. The emotion is still there… but the atmosphere, the space, the energy he’s created around it takes the track somewhere entirely new. It’s the perfect closing moment for the album and a reminder of what collaboration can bring to music.

This remix is exclusive to the @kickstarter and @bandcamp versions of the album ONLY and I’m incredibly proud that Royce agreed to be part of this project.

⏳ There are now just 48 hours left before the Kickstarter campaign closes.

We’ve already achieved so much together, but a few more pledges in these final hours would make a huge difference and help push the project even further. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is the moment.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping bring this music into the world.

One week to go.

In 7 days, this Kickstarter closes — and so do the at-cost reward prices.

I’ve priced everything without profit to me. The aim was simple: make this album as accessible as possible for the people who’ve supported the music.

After the campaign ends, the album will still be available to pre-order via Bandcamp — but with a markup to help cover ongoing costs.

If you’ve been meaning to pledge, this is the moment.

Let’s finish this strongly.

70% funded as we begin day 13.

No change yesterday but that’s okay.👌

There’s still 17 more days to bang that drum 🥁

So I made this. 🛄

A simple reminder that this campaign isn’t abstract.
It’s tangible.
It’s physical.
It’s vinyl.
CDs.
Lyrics.
Hoodies.
Your name printed in the artwork.
And I’m manifesting all of it.

We’re 30% away from turning all of this into something real.

After the emotional rollercoaster 🎢 of the last couple of weeks, 70% is both encouraging and uncomfortable. Close enough to feel possible. Far enough away to know it’s not guaranteed.

But here’s what I do know:

“Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes”

If you’ve been watching and meaning to jump in, this is the nudge.

Let’s get this over the line!

70% funded.

That number feels big.

A couple of weeks ago this whole thing felt fragile. Now the target is properly in sight and, for the first time, everything is starting to feel possible.

It’s been a rollercoaster though.

Some of the people who’ve pledged have completely surprised me — people I didn’t even know were watching. That’s been incredible.

And if I’m being honest… there are also people I thought would step forward who’ve stayed quiet. That part has been harder than I expected.

Crowdfunding has a way of revealing things. It stretches you. It humbles you. It toughens you up.

But here’s what I know:

70% means this is real.
70% means belief is building.
70% means we’re closer than we’ve ever been.

If you’ve backed Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes — thank you. You’ve moved this from idea to inevitability.

If you’re still watching from the sidelines, now’s the moment. The final 30% is where it tips.

Let’s see this through.

Some lovely messages from some of the Day 1 @kickstarter backers A solid start but still a long way to be able to bring the physical release of the album to life. I’ll keep banging the drum 🥁 and daring to dream as I always have. If you’re on the fence come join us the water is lovely 🥰

Hi, I’m Alan Dreezer.

I’ve just completed my third album, Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes, and today I’ve launched a Kickstarter @kickstarter to help manufacture the physical releases — vinyl, CDs, and exclusive merch.

One really special part of this campaign is that backers get an exclusive remix by Grammy-nominated producer Royce Wood Jr @roycewoodjunior_ — something that honestly feels like a dream moment in my journey. That remix won’t be on streaming platforms — it’s only available through the campaign.

There are lots of reward options, from a digital download, to vinyl, T-shirts, hoodies, and a limited signed artwork print.

If you’d like to support independent music and be part of this album’s story, the link’s in my bio.
Thank you — it genuinely means the world.
