Just a brief thank you God moment. Many of you know my dear Laura passed away last week. We weren’t expecting it at all right now, but God in his mercy took her quickly. Jeff and I had signed up to go on the last Gaither Cruise. We loved every minute the last time we went, but I seriously thought we wouldn’t be able to go, but God in his mercy orchestrated it so I could fly from Sarasota to Kentucky and back the next day, and leave from Ft Lauderdale on Sunday. Laura’s sweet sister and I have had long conversations in the last few days. She told me how worried Laura was about me when they moved for the second time. This knowing…this visual came to me. I can see her telling Jesus she is worried about leaving me. And he told her “don’t worry about her. I’ve got her locked in a boat with The Gaithers and 40 Christian singers. She’s ok.” Thank you Lord for this gift. 💞

Wonders never cease! I love my little pelican that sat at my front door at Siesta Key. When we went to see the damage, I was sad he was gone, but not surprised. Two hurricanes in 13 days surely would have washed him away. My friend texted me this morning and asked if he was mine! Someone had found him and they will clean him up and put him back on the porch to welcome us! Thank you Lord for little things! Sometimes the little things are the big things in life!

Thankful for being able to fly down and check on my sweet Florida friend Diane! She has been so good to me and my kids for years in Florida. She had surgery and I’m so glad I got to spend some time helping her. Staying at a new place as my house is rented! True friendship is one of Gods best gifts to us!
