A Practically Perfect press night for @marypoppinsmusical at @mayflower.theatre ☂️✨

Thank you @joedquinlan @ellamaess_ and team for your wonderful hospitality and making my first visit to the beautiful Mayflower so memorable 🤍

The show remains a must-see with a stunning touring company. With some of theatre’s most spectacular moments all in one show, it still takes my breath away every time!

A supercalifragilistic way to spend the evening continuing the @disney magic after docking in Southampton with @disneycruiseline ⚓️✨

Ok I’ll try my best!

This was my answer when my friend asked if I could create a #mrsdoubtfiremusical Wig.

Am I trained in wigs? NO.

Do I really have a clue how to style wigs? NO.

Am I going to try and have the CONFIDENCE to have a go for him ?

YES!

He gives me a brief, a couple of pictures and I just go from there, I start to have a play with the hair and it just builds into the look 👀

Yes I get in a bit of a tizz because it’s not my thing, I just want to do it right for him, it’s on stage for everyone to see. No Pressure 🤣

The point I’m trying to make is, just have a go, don’t be afraid to fail,
In this case he loved it and was happy 😃

I actually entered it into a competition this week, I didn’t win, I didn’t expect to win either, the talent was insane.

BUT I did get recognition for it from amazing judges and stylists, who are well known for their styling work.

Good enough for me 😁

Say yes, have a go, who cares if you fail?
You will always learn something.

#B2022 absolutely unreal! 🤩🤩🤩

To see our region shine like this has been a dream and to have contributed in a few tiny ways, from workshops to helping young people design the fabulous mascot, Perry has been an absolute privilege. 🥰

The time I haven’t spent at events, I have been watching on TV and being extremely proud of the tireless work Phil has put into these championships, making sure the media of the world get to showcase Birmingham in the best way possible. 🥇🥈🥉

I think we can firmly say Birmingham, The Black Country and the West Midlands have been firmly placed on the world sporting map…so what’s next? 🗺❓
