L’année dernière, Coline Garcia était l’invitée de la Circus Family Fun Day à Cherbourg. Les tout-petits avaient ainsi pu découvrir son spectacle TRAIT(s) et son album jeunesse Circassienne. Avec Boîte Noire, c’est désormais aux adolescent·e·s qu’elle s’adresse. Et avec un sujet pas des plus évident à aborder… la sexualité ! Nourrie par les témoignages de lycéen·ne·s, Coline Garcia imagine avec ce spectacle sous forme de docu-fiction un manifeste contre la domination masculine dans la sexualité. Et les artistes au plateau, trois circassiennes et une musicienne, d’envoyer valser les codes de l’exploit physique pour s’affranchir des normes en manipulant des pièges à loups, en grimpant au tissu !

We are very excited to start presenting the teacher team of DO Festival 2023 to you 🤗
First up is: Diane Gossiome!
Born in France, studied dance in Switzerland, New York and Portugal all the while meeting circus and acrobatics along the way, becoming fascinated by its technical aspects. Diane is a true movement researcher: exploring, discovering, digging, developing, never stopping (except when an injury forces her to take a pause…).
During DO Festival 2023 Diane will share her tools for exploration in acrodance with you: a balance between floorwork and acrobatics, a rich array of technical and researching input empowering you to untap your acrobatic potential.
