The art show by the local artist CARA MCCABE was a huge success last night! Thank you so much to all who came and supported Cara! The remaining art work will be displayed at LANPHIER, private boutique, for the next 2 weeks. Please come and visit to view her work. LANPHIER is open 7 days a week. Per your request Cara would be happy to do the private showing at your convenience.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Allowing the paint to guide her, Cara’s work spans a range of painting techniques from landscape to portraiture and abstract structure. She uses real life and photographs to translate various colors, moods and textures into an artistic experience. Motivated by emotional connections and relationships, her paintings often have an element of psychology and spiritually to them.

Cara grew up on a farm in Newburyport, Massachusetts. She has over twenty-five years of experience studying and working as an Artist. She has been accepted into The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, The Loft Artist Association, and The Rowayton Art Center Juried Shows. She is involved in several art organizations for Harvard Alumni.

Cara is currently selling her work through her website www.caramccabeart.com. She is also represented by The Geary Gallery in Darien CT and by Lilian August, LA HOME in Norwalk, CT. Her works can be found in private collections in Manhattan, East Hamptons NY, throughout CT, Los Angeles CA, Boston MA, Palm Beach FL, and Weisimmer Switzerland.
