Push up to swissball jackknife 🔪

This is an exercise that hits multiple areas that @connorcullen17 needs based on his full body, muscular & skeletal assessment.

Things I look for here is the athletes ability to maintain control through the entire movement. Even step of the Rep should be intentional.

Additionally, range of motion. Is the athlete allowing the pec major/minor to be over extended on the push up? Is the lumbar rounding because of the knees coming up past its limit? Do the hips drop during knee flexion? Is his head positioning where it needs to be?

It’s my job to MICROMANAGE an athlete’s movement from their toes to their ears. That’s what they’re paying for and if that’s not what the coach is providing, then they just bought the most expensive rep counter on the market 🫤

Phase 1, in the lab with @connorcullen17 🧛‍♂️

Big focus on building a foundation where the MMA pro can move through resistance while engaging and stabilizing his core.

Based on the data we’ve been able to collect over the past couple weeks, forming a stronger relationship with his core will allow everything else to fall into place, as we continue to progress.

Looking forward to helping Connor build from the ground up 📐🔩⚔️

You can’t know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been.

Longo’s MMA, Connor Cullen, has dedicated countless hours into the hurt business. But, now it’s time for a tune-up and find out where his imbalances are and bring him back to baseline.

Cullen will announce his pro-debut later this year so keep an eye out! 🧛‍♂️
