A special shout out to ✨EMILY✨ for signing up for this with me last minute, helping me train a bit, and sticking with me through this and trying to push me, although, I was not listening for those last 3 miles 🫠😂

🟢 MONDAY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🟢

Member: @diaz_21

1. Why/When did you start working out?
“I started working out a few months after I had my son, but it was mainly cardio. I started lifting weights in November 2017. I stared because I was unhappy with my appearance. I’ve always liked a challenge & pushing my body past it’s limits. So little by little the gym became my safe place & I’ve learned & grown so much physically & mentally.”

2. Favorite body part and exercise?
“Hamstrings & gluts. I honestly neglected them for so long & disliked working them out, but with time it then became a love & hate connection with it. Now they’re definitely my favorite.”

3. What do you like most about Species Gym Baytown?
“The variety of machines, the vibe, how clean it is, & it’s 24/7. I honestly just think it’s an awesome gym all the way around. I can’t wait to see how much more growth this gym makes with its expansion in progress. 👏🏽”
