Ace Dimalanta (she/her) is a dance instructor specializing in hip hop choreography. She currently studies & practices several dances, including: contemporary, jazz, ballet, house, vogue femme, tutting, and waving. She is also an instructor at broadway babies and kids (@broadwaybabiesandkids) Ace is a founder of BABA G @bayareabandsandartists.ag and hosts concerts as DJ Di-¢ENT (@dicent.wav) She believes that art, especially music & dance, is the ultimate form of resistance. ----- Class Format ------ Introduction Warm up Movement & Stretches Explore & Apply Build Choreo Present Cool Down ---------------------------- A note from the instructor: This class is designed to introduce movement through a community gathering, following a “workshop” format. Choreography will be created live, in real time. I want my students to focus on building their technique through collaborative efforts with each other. It makes learning more fun and easy!
