Columbus so far…. (F-ING AWESOME)
We’ve met so many amazing people in those two weeks so far, went to a CON and a CONcert, drove around a bunch in our VERY lovely truck, watched a lot of supernatural, jammed to a lot of music, threatened Matt Cohen with an axe (sorry about that @mattcohen4real :d) and generally just enjoyed frolicking around Ohio. Here’s to one more week🫶🏻👻 - Angi & Naemi

A trip with friends to Vancouver. An aquarium that made me cry. Another creation convention. A burger I would kill for. And I can't wait to do it all again

What kind of chaos are you today? 😂

Are you making questionable plans, trying to keep everyone else under control, accidentally causing problems… or just watching the mess unfold like you had absolutely nothing to do with it? 👀

Pick your Thursday mood: A, B, C, D, E or F — and drop your letter in the comments. ↓

No judgement here. We’re all a little Winchester-coded sometimes. 😂

I’m gonna try to spread these out a bit so my feed will probably be SPN themed for a while! But I’m gonna start with probably my favorite person I talked to all weekend.

I meant it when I said you were my 2nd favorite character in the entire show (Can’t top Ash, I mean cmon) but damn Gabriel MADE the show for me. He was funny, an asshole, smarter than everyone else, and just the right mix of selfish and helpful. Such a complex character and whenever I saw him show up I just knew that was about to be a top tier episode.

Richard was every best part of Gabriel, hilarious, witty, intelligent, but he was also incredibly warm and so so nice to talk to. I genuinely wish I hadn’t packed my schedule so full so I could’ve talked to him longer. I actually missed the time for the mystery spot selfies and asked him if I could pretty please still have a selfie at his table and he looked at me and said “Good news, the backdrop is literally right over there. Let’s go” and walked back over with me. He did not have to take time away from his table to do that but he did.

When I go back in 2028 I know exactly who I’m gonna go find first 🖤🪽

I almost didn't come back💔

But I am damn glad I did💜

This past weekend, after 10 months away due to medical issues and my inability to travel, I returned to the Supernatural convention in Columbus, Ohio.

For four years, these conventions have been my home away from home. This time, though, I returned in a wheelchair. I wasn't ashamed of surviving, but I was struggling with the reality of what survival had cost me.

Living with POTS and MALS has changed my life in ways I never expected. Pain, uncertainty, hospital stays, tests, and frustrations have become part of my everyday reality.

When I arrived at the convention, I felt lost. I told myself to focus on what mattered: seeing the people I cared about and making the most of the weekend.

What I didn't expect was to be reminded just how much this community means to me.

People stopped to talk to me. They asked about my wheelchair. They asked about my story. They encouraged me to keep sharing my experiences with chronic illness and mental health.

And for the first time in a long time, I realized something: I was still part of this family.

I wasn't forgotten. I was missed.

After years of searching for answers, I was diagnosed with MALS and POTS. On November 5, I'll undergo open MALS release surgery. There's still a long road ahead, but for the first time in years, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

This weekend reminded me of something important: People change people.

The conversations we have. The friendships we build. The encouragement we give each other. It all matters.

I saw people I love. I made new friends. I laughed, hugged people tight, and made memories I'll carry with me into the fight ahead.

Most importantly, I came home with a reminder: I'm not done yet.

I came. I conquered. I won.

And when the hard part begins, I'll hold onto these moments and the people who helped create them until I can find my way back. ❤️
