Introducing DICOT 💥

Dicot started in 2023 as the indie rock project of Eddie Campell based in Madison, WI. The band is inspired by shoegaze, slowcore, punk, and power pop.

Having established themselves as a mainstay in the Madison and Chicago diy circuits, the shoegaze trio is now working towards breaking out in the Midwest regionally in anticipation of their debut LP.

Dicot’s wide emotional range is demonstrated by their ability to open for both raucous, mosh pit incessant acts like Mr. Phylzzz and Excuse Me, Who Are You? As well as quiet, intimate songwriters like Greg Mendez, Orchid Mantis, and Scarlet Rae.

The headliner for Madison Music Radar’s 2026 Rising Artist Showcase, “dicot is already the truth, and they’re still only getting started” -Aaron Grych.
