For quite some time, I have been creating covers for my cd copies of music albums.

I can't content myself with the proposed dematerialization, I need to feel the object, contemplate, open, take, place on the turntable, slide into the cd player.
While waiting to own the vinyl versions at best or cd versions at least better, I draw, hack, shape fake covers to decorate these cd copies.

Alternative albums art for music of all styles. French song, french pop, english punk, american punk, french punk, punk from all countries, psychedelic rock, riot grrrl, post-punk, afro-beat, psychobilly, rock'n'roll, cold wave, rap, raï, heavy metal, garage rock, protopunk, glam rock...

I decided to set up an Instagram account dedicated to this kind of project.

Here is a page showing all these pirate covers made by illustrators, graphic designers, painters, engravers, amateurs who know to handle the pencil or not, music enthusiasts.
People who make fictional albums art for their cd or tapes copies or for no physical support, just for fun.
Fake album covers, semi-true ones, almost identical ones, as you want.

If you are motivated and produce things, send me your images, I will post them here.
