Located in Caledon, ON, Belfountain Conservation Area offers a picturesque setting to explore. Suspension bridge, waterfall, babbling brook, forest walks, and more! A great date spot, catch up with a friend of take some breathtaking photos. I personally ADORE the nearby coffee shops and twisting hills of the area especially in the fall 🍃 🍁 🍂 4 short trails to choose from including accessible paths, we did them all and circled back because it was just so pretty!! Reservations are required to guarantee your spot 🎫 “Connect with nature and explore the past on the Niagara Escarpment, in the valley of the West Credit River. Overlook a beautiful waterfall from the suspension bridge. Meet an escarpment trail where freshwater springs flow down limestone cliffs. Visit historical features in the park including the “belle” fountain, terrace and Yellowstone Cave. This park was recently restored to help protect and manage the natural and cultural heritage of the property.” Enjoy!!

@amandadiscovers Fishing is still fishing whether you catch any fish or not! As we near the end of ice fishing season and begin to prepare for the warmer weather and mornings out on the open water, I go back to the incredible day I had ice fishing with thehappy_hiker_ infinitasma @brookekon_ @didgetize & @nolan_the_adventure_pup Thank you for the memorable day 🫶🎣🌞 We started our middle of the night/early morning drive up to Lake Simcoe so we could meet up with @fishsimcoe who would be taking us out onto the ice to set up in the hut for the day! The hut came beautifully equipped with cushioned benches, heat, pre drilled holes, minnows and some other add ons were also available including the fish finder and some extra rods! Right away the fish were biting and the ice fishing chronicles started off with @nolan_the_adventure_pup having some magical fishing powers every time she dropped a line in but eventually we were all able to hook into a perch! It made for such a fun fishing experience seeing all the fish right on the screen. I think this helped us hook into a few more fish, although most of them were too small to consider keeping. Sadly there was one fish that wouldn’t have survived had we thrown it back in so we decided to try a quick catch and cook right on the ice! 🎣 I appreciated everyone trying the perch even though one wasn’t enough to keep us all full throughout the entire day! Ice fishing really works up an appetite so we were lucky to have @fishsimcoe who saved the day with their pizza delivery directly to the hut out on the lake 🍕 thank you for the great experience! I won’t be able to make it out for another ice fishing adventure until next season rolls around but thats okay because between then and now is upcoming open water fishing season😍 Until then, I’ll remember the memories made in that hut and cherish the laughs we shared keeping in mind that it’s never too early to start planning next years ice fishing adventure… #icefishing #icefishingnation #lakesimcoe #lakesimcoeicefishing #womenwhofish #womenoutdoors #womeninnature #perch #catchandcook #catchandcookfishing #girlstrip #fishinglife #outdoors #

Can you take a guess as to what this years winter ex-ribbit is… We came for the frogs and stayed for everything else The Royal Botanical Gardens offers its visitors year round! Up until April 16th you can learn about the frogs through the interactive shows and visit other wetland creatures in their enclosures! We were so excited to visit the frogs that we showed up early and decided to explore the fun nature trails connected to the gardens (there’s over 27km of trails to explore!) Lots of boardwalks, various wildlife and so many species of plants to see, I can imagine that come springtime the area must attract an array of pollinators 🦋🐛🐝 #rbgcanada #rbgfrogs #winterexhibition #rbg #ontariobirds #womenwhoexplore #womenwhoexploreontario #leapfrog #innerchild #innerchildhealing #exploreontario #flowergarden #wildlife #boardwalk #boardwalktrail #manifeellikeawoman #frogexhibit #lunchandlearn #funforeveryone

The online hiking community is pretty amazing 🤩 From meeting my very first online friend IRL (looking at you, @pinesanddines!) to camping with a bunch of strangers on my very first camping trip in Algonquin, to a huge group hike yesterday with the @hustle.hikers, there's endless inspiration on here. So glad to be a part of this little space of instagram and sharing my passion with all of you! Who was the first online friend you adventured with? Tag them to give them some love! 📸 @b.adventurefit (also, I 100% didn't tag everyone because my memory is terrible and I didn't do a good job circulating 🙈 lmk if you want a tag!) ______________________ #hike #hiking #hikingadventures #camping #campingadventures #ontario #wildernessculture #stepintonature #soloadventures #adventuregirls #girlsoutdoors #ontarioparks #presquile #presquileprovincialpark #pec #princeedwardcounty #lighthouse #hikhers #hustlehikers #hikingbuddies #grouphike #ontariohiking #roadtrip
