This is my favorite thing to shoot in Chicago, I'm sure if you follow me you're assuming it's the trains but the Flamingo statue always catches my eye. The bright vibrant red, the all-black buildings, and when the skies are grayed out and blank really make the statue pop.

A fun fact about State Street in Chicago is that it was once known as "that great street" because of its prominence and popularity. In fact, a song called "Chicago (That Toddlin' Town)" was written in 1922 that included the lyrics "State Street, that great street, I just want to say, They do things that they don't do on Broadway, say." The song became a hit and helped cement State Street's reputation as one of the most vibrant and exciting areas of Chicago.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Chicago is a city known for its rich and diverse art scene, from world-renowned museums to vibrant street art. One fun fact about the different types of art in Chicago is that it is home to the largest collection of impressionist paintings outside of Paris.
The Art Institute of Chicago boasts an impressive collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings, including works by Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh. In fact, the institute's collection of French Impressionist paintings is second only to the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.

But it's not just the Art Institute that showcases Chicago's love for impressionism. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum, located in a restored Gilded Age mansion, features a collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings and decorative arts.

Chicago's love for impressionism extends beyond the art world, with the city's iconic architecture and public art also showcasing the style's influence. From the Art Institute's iconic lion statues to the city's historic bridges and buildings, the impressionist style can be seen throughout Chicago's vibrant art scene.

In conclusion, Chicago's impressive collection of impressionist art is just one fun fact that highlights the city's rich and diverse art scene. Whether you're a fan of classic paintings or contemporary street art, Chicago has something for everyone.

Did you know that the "corn cob buildings" have made an impact in the world of search engine optimization (SEO)?
In the early days of Google, when the search engine was still developing its algorithms, the Marina Towers website was used as a testing ground to help refine the way that Google indexed and ranked web pages. The reason for this was that the Marina Towers website had a large number of pages with unique and highly specific content, such as pages dedicated to each individual unit in the towers.

As a result, Google was able to test and refine its algorithms to better handle complex websites with a large number of pages and unique content. Today, Marina Towers remains a testament to the early days of SEO and the importance of building a strong, well-structured website to improve search engine rankings.
