Calling all @venturasurfclub members…Registration is open, let’s show up in force and represent the club, city and our home break. Special guest @longboardarian will be there answering questions and teaching a break dancing/pop locking class. @tamaraleisutton will also be there providing salsa dancing lessons. It will be the best event of the month…see you all there.

I’ve done 2 things in my life that I’m proud of and have made me happy about my life. This kid is the first, 23 years ago my little best friend was born. My little Dodger, Benny the Jet Garcia, single fin yellow, wrestling, jiu jItsu boy. Now a college grad from SFSU with an electrical engineering degree and a 9-5 that keeps him out of the water. I’m proud of my baby boy. I don’t post much of my personal life on this account and try to keep it pure surf but I’m to proud of my baby not to. LOVE YOU SON. YOULL ALWAYS BE DADDIES LITTLE BOY…..

Bach home to Bali ✈️ 2 month recap of the USA experience w/ my 2 Loves of my Life, @rhondaswan & @hanaleiswan 🦢

From LA, Tahoe 🏂 to Times Square, Dead 🎸at the Sphere to Dodgers Stadium.

This was a season of presence, power… and pain.

We hit the slopes in Tahoe, danced under galaxies at the Dead show in Vegas, and wrapped it all in a warm LA hug with the people who matter most.

From road trips to red carpets to the bell at the NYSE… Rhonda and I ran the business in motion.

Building while breathing it all in.

Deals closed in hotel lobbies. Zooms taken from backseats. Strategy hashed out in cafés.

No vacation—just integration.

And still, it wasn’t all light…

There’s been heaviness behind the smiles.

A pit in my chest every time I think about missing Hanalei’s 18th birthday 🎂 this Thursday.

I’ll be across the world in Bali, committed to projects I’ve started.

But it hurts not being there.

I’ve been torn between the mission and the moments.

Waking up in the LA DogHouse, sweating through sunrise driveway workouts, reminding myself why I’m doing this.

This is the season of sacrifice and soul work.

Of going deep to go higher.

And though I’m apart from the two greatest loves ❤️‍🔥 of my life…

I know it’s for something bigger.

Hanalei…

Love you so much.
You are my legacy in motion.
And even if I’m not there this week, I’ll show up for every season that follows.

Rhonda…

27 years together next month and I can’t imagine anyone else I could ever be with sharing these moments together with our daughter…it’s priceless. Love ❤️‍🔥 you.

Gemini season, I’m back for Mom’s birthday, Dan @photosbyusher and mine.

But right now…

it’s time to continue moving forward what’s been started back home in Bali.
