Having a piece in The Main Event has been a long goal, and I finally found the perfect outlet for all the creative juices I’ve been waiting to release. When I heard the theme was Bad to the Bone, I immediately knew that i have to do a @parrisgoebel set. To have my first choreographed piece make HERSTORY as the first Trans Woman to grace this lineup with the gaggiest cast in Vancouver is a total dream come true 🏳️‍⚧️. Thank you, @kennonnn and @welcometothemainevent committee, for believing in my vision and trusting me to open the show. The love I felt from the tech run to the end of the night was overwhelming. To my peers and the audience: thank you for the support. I love and appreciate you all! To my cast: You are my forever dream team. Thank you for your patience, for trusting me, and for being unapologetically loud and proud. A Trans Woman with a full Queer cast opening THEE Main Event?! We made HERSTORY and i know that’s so right!! You all inspire me daily. Same time next year? A special shout out to my rock, @elizabethaguasin You’ve been the ultimate support system. From filming and editing my submission to planning the cast photoshoot and capturing every rehearsal, you went above and beyond. You brought ideas I never even dreamed of. I love you so much, I truly couldn’t have done this without you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻 🎶: DUMMY x DONT BREAK MY HEART BABY by @parrisgoebel 🎥: @jullianvsco Adison Ragasa @adisonragasa Brett Perkins @brettperkins_ Calvin Cruz @calvinzurc Caleb Illescas @calebillescas @xo.cata1eya Connor Ferguson @connorferg04 Dario Knezic @dario.knezic Daniel Brown @daniel.lexb Diego Morales @diegofc.15 Jayden Gacula @jayden_gacula Jake Ventura @jake.ventura Jilian Boyles @jilian.boyles Ron Quidep @ron_elijah Treyvin Kinisky @treyvindean Vince Jason Amit @jason.amit Zamling Sherpa @zam1ing
