Grateful for this life

This time last year I was lost. I wasn’t able to do the thing that I have always loved. For me playing soccer has never been a chore, but something that I loved and always wanted to do. I realized how hard life was without this sport. I didn’t enjoy the place I was at and I didn’t make many friends because I couldn’t play. Rehab was tough. I wanted to quit so many times, but I never did because I wanted to play soccer again so bad. This year though has been so refreshing. I found a “new” home which was the best decision I have ever made. To all of my teammates, coaches, and friends at WIU, thank you. You guys brought my love back for this game. I am forever grateful. The best part of this whole thing is that I’m not done yet. Year 4✅ #rollnecks
