We’re excited to welcome @diadora as our official sports partner for the 6th edition of ONA Short Film Festival. Bringing the worlds of outdoor sports, nature cinema, and the magic of Venice to San Servolo Island.

Diadora’s latest film, “Simmering,” will be presented during the festival, showcasing their recent epic adventure: running 250km in the Moroccan desert.

Inspiring films, international guests, photography exhibitions, creative workshops and much more await.

Is It Still Art If You Are Making It for the Algorithm?

I know I talk a lot about both the good and the bad sides of things on this page, but I recently came across a quote about how the algorithm is one of the biggest things holding artists back.

Social media has made it possible for artists to reach millions with a single post. One moment can change someone’s entire life. But has that changed the way we create?

It is fair to say that when we put so much focus on pleasing the algorithm, even if we are not fully aware of it, it changes how we make art. And that brings up a real question. Has social media hurt art more than it has helped it?

Personally, I think even if social media has pushed artists toward making things that feel more viral friendly, that does not mean it is wrong. It is just part of the game now.

In the end, I think it is about balance. If before posting online you were making different work, and now you are trying to make something that will catch attention, that is fine. Just do not forget what you actually want to create.

If you can make work that performs well online and still lead people toward the art you are most proud of, then do that.

At the end of the day, create what feels right to you. Keep going. Keep showing the world your art.

Con mucho orgullo presentamos la campaña para los nuevos empaques de @vivancepets, fueron 4 días andando con estos perritos entre el cócora y Guatape, cachorros y perros maduros pero muy inquietos, la humedad de la grama los ensuciaba y había que alistarlos para cada foto. Contamos con la magia de nuestro amigo @perros.increibles para que tomaran la posición correcta que querían los creativos de @littlebuddha_agency. Todo salió perfecto gracias a la producción de @linaboterog y el arte de nuestro gran @david_tamayo_ . Y luego dejamos todo en las manos del gran @diegosalasnet para la impecable post. Gracias a nuestro cliente @vivancepets por la confianza para hacer este hermoso proyecto. Y por supuesto gracias a todos los perritos modelos que hicieron posible esta hermosa campaña.
