Sometimes it takes me the longest to write about what I care about most. I want to find the right words. I want them to stay. Somehow, I want these moments to last forever.

I’m still lost for words for how important this week would become for me, for all of us.

These became some of the last moments we shared with our dear Nico. And what a gift that they were filled with so much joy, beauty, laughter, music, connection and love.

It has made me understand, more than ever, how precious these spaces are that bring us together. Spaces where we remember who we are, where we discover our gifts, our magic, and where strangers somehow become friends, and friends become family.

Maria, I will always be grateful for what you create in this world with @sacbe.love. For the sister you are, but also the mentor you have been to me. Thank you for your trust in allowing me to share in your work and help carry some of it into the world. @mariayatriki

You have created so much beauty for so many of us. The intimacy and incredible curation of facilitators and guests in your gatherings. It has always brought more into my life than I can express in words.

And after everything that has happened, I feel even more deeply how important it is that we keep creating these places for one another. That we keep gathering. That we keep choosing life, connection, beauty and each other while we are here. Thank you for everyone that contributed to this beautiful Sacbe:ReUnion gathering in Ibiza, all the artists and amazing speakers ❤️

To everyone joining us at Burning Man this year: I can’t wait to welcome you into our family. And if you’re still on the fence about coming, know that you’ll be in very loving hands with us. Please reach out if you feel called to join.

We will also host a ceremony for Nico on Wednesday September 2nd at 5PM in AMMA, to celebrate his beautiful life together in the dust.

I’m so grateful for the people who have come into my life through these creations. So grateful for these memories. So intensely grateful for this life.

And I hope we get to create many, many more together. ❤️‍🔥

My one and only Schatziiiii @nico_stojan 🤍

We met ten years ago on the Robot Heart bus. It was one of those rare moments of instant recognition as if we had known each other in another lifetime. On that very first night we sat together for hours, freezing on one of those really cold playa nights, sharing our deepest secrets. He lent me his coat, and somehow that gesture became the beginning of one of the most beautiful friendships of my life.

From then on, we shared many magical adventures. We were RV roomies at the burn, I always felt that Nico came into my life to elevate my experience of it. I’m going to miss his sophisticated taste in everything, his music, our champagne and fish cracker sessions, face masks, tea, and the endless conversations about our dreams, our life projects, and how we wanted to build a beautiful community and grow old together.

I spoke to him just a few days ago. He was so excited that we were going to be RV roomies again. He told me he had already made a list of all the little things he wanted to bring so I would be happy. That was who Nico was. He always created a space where I felt safe, nourished, deeply loved, and completely free to be my most authentic self.

He also shared how excited he was about his new album and about Sensorium his incredible spaceship vision that he had been envisioning for years. He was so full of inspiration and possibility.

As much as my heart aches knowing how deeply we’re all going to miss him, there is also a sense of peace within me. I know he is free now, space traveling which was his favorite thing to do.

I love you, Schatzi. Thank you for every adventure, every conversation, every laugh, and for your unconditional love. You changed my life forever. Until we meet again. 🤍

TONIGHT IS VOLUME 50 of @enlasala.mx (wow 🤯) in Santa Monica! so thankful for this growing community that has now spread beyond Mexico City and into Los Angeles! see you tonight for some special surprises ✨

three and a half years ago, En La Sala was never part of the plan.

i had a show booked at a venue in Mexico City but last minute i found out they’d double-booked the night because they werent selling as many tickets as they would have liked. (i only discovered it because I saw another artist’s poster hanging up for the exact same date and time…)

i could’ve gotten angry…. canceled the show.

but instead, i invited everyone to my living room. “mi sala” en Roma Norte.

about 15 friends, fans, and strangers squeezed into my apartment. i cooked dinner for everyone (even making carrot cake and cream cheese icing, remember that?), played my songs, and invited a few singer/songwriter friends to share theirs too. it was so special…

at the end of the night, people asked, “When’s the next one?”

and so i did it again two weeks later… showcasing different musician friends.

then again.

and again.

without realizing it, what started as a backup plan became a community. a place where artists are celebrated, people bring food to share, many connections made between different cultures… and music is experienced the way it was always meant to be… up close, together, with full attention on the craft.

here was are years later… En La Sala has crossed borders, found a new home in Los Angeles, and tonight we’re celebrating Volume 50! FIFTY living room concerts.

sometimes the best things you’ll ever build begin with a door closing... and the courage to open your own.

My heart is still so full after this unforgettable week @sacbe.love @unio_ibiza ❤️✨

It was the perfect synergy of inspiring talks, transforming sessions and evenings filled with touching music and magic 🪄❤️‍🔥🌌💫

Being in front of Es Vedrà on my soul island Ibiza, surrounded by so many like minded souls, forming heart-led connections and seeing so many Soul Pieces find their meant to be ✨ everything felt perfectly aligned. It reminded me once again that this is exactly why I created my Soul Pieces.
Every piece is one of a kind, handmade with love from recycled vintage saris by empowered women in India. Each one carries its own soul and energy. When you find yours, it becomes an energy match, supporting you to express your true self and live authentically ✨✨
